Subaru Stars 04 STi 11.9 @ 112 *stock turbo*

Congratulations to Rolando aka "Roly". He ran a few 11.9 @ 112 on his stock turbo 04 STi. He managed a 1.59 60 ft on one of the passes. On another pass he got a 1.67 60ft and still ran 11.9.

Mods:

Ecutek reflash
3" Turboback
Injen CAI
Hallman MBC
Walbro Fuel pump
Nitto Drag tires
Pump gas mixed with VP (around 100 OCT)

The car put down around 300WHP 400 lb/ft on a dynojet with that set-up.

The car still has the stock clutch, stock turbo inlet, TMIC, obviously the VF39 turbo with internal W/G, stock turbo inlet and the rest of the parts, so there still a lot of room to improve these times.

For those who don't know Roly is an amazing driver. So I'm sure these times will just get better.

Edit- For more info.

Here are the slips

60 FT- 1.5939
1/8 - 7.56 @ 92.55
1/4 - 11.9619 @ 112.21

60 FT- 1.6779
1/8 - 7.5960 @ 90.36
1/4 - 11.9582

The car has around 300WHP (dynojet) and I think those passes were made on pump gas! (Got to double check though).

I'm sure there is some. The car was tuned by Miguel Alcrudo "APT" (Auto Plaza Tuners).

No, this is a whole new car (it was stock before this). This is Roly's daily driver. I'll see if I can get some charts, slips and so on so you guys can see.

He also has another project (06 STi) but the goal for that one is 9's.

He ran 11.9 twice! I think he was a little surprise by the times he ran. Hopefully he can go out again and this time he uses the full battle gear.

even with every mod under the sun, its still impressive.

hell i'd say a vf39 in the 11's with a 30-50 shot is impressive.

speed,

does he have any plans to do any headwork while still on the stock turbo? I'd love to see a vf39 with ported heads and cams with roly driving.

Doubt it... his goal for this car is to have a fun daily driver. Bolt-on turbo, bigger TMIC or FMIC... nothing really big.

The other one on the other hand... hehehe.

damn, Roly should drive my car. I wish my car was running the way it is now when he was here Roly is probably the best 1/4 mile Subie driver period. Also weighing 100 lbs wet helps Nice times!

11.9 @ 112 in this car = perfect driving. Awsome job!!! There is so much more room for improvement in terms of power as well. THese cars can trap as high as 116 completely maxed out on the stocker. This guy can probably see mid 11's on a more aggressive tune.

And I thought 12.0 @ 112 was good
