Default 2002 Red WRX w/ hybrid Axis stage 2 motor - Madison, WI - $11,000

I've got a (WRB) Red 2002 Subie WRX sedan. Here's a list of mod's. The car is in Madison, WI - but I'm willing to drive a negotiable distance if a potential buyer was serious. The body has 105k on the clock, and the motor was build when the odometer said 92k.

• 2.5 Axis stage 2 block bored 0.030 over (100mm bore) [build done by former race car shop owner, name/info provided upon request]
• 100mm oversized Mahle pistons
• STI rods / crankshaft
• ACL HX series main and rod bearings (52mm journals for 2.5L, X series bearings providing more clearance for additional oil flow)
• 2.0 heads
• 0.041 Cometic brand head gasket
• Modified WRX injectors flowing at 820 cc/min (cleaned and tested by RC Engineering)
• Stock 5 speed transmission (shifts and runs great, no problems)
• Exedy stage 2 clutch kit
• 3” free flow JGT 500 stainless steel exhaust with fiberglass wrapped downpipe
• HKS turbo timer
• LC-1 wide band O2 sensor by Innovate motorsports with installed computer monitoring port
• Installed Autometer volt / boost gauges with red lighting
• EGT gauge / autometer dash bezel (not yet installed)
• TD04 turbo
• WRX top mount intercooler
• Ported, polished and ceramic coated WRX headers
• TGV Deletes with blades removed (all sensors are still in place, but tuned to remove CEL)
• Cold air filter
• Boston audio crossover/speakers in the front door
• Alpine Alpine CDA-9883 head unit with iPod cable
• Jensen A1000 2 channel amp
• APS turbo inlet
• AVO Wastegate Actuator
• Optima red top battery
• Helix Up pipe
• Walbro 255 fuel pump
• GM boost solenoid controller
• Raammat sound deadener
• Recently tuned by RS motors, dyno’ed at 200 HP, toss a bigger turbo on and they said it would break 300 HP easily
• All new Firestone Firehawk GT tires Feb 08
• Carbon fiber hood scoop (I think it’s Seibon)
• Cobb short throw shifter with new bushings (bushings still need installation)
• Cobb heat shield
• Front / left bearing, hub and ball joint done at 105k

I'd consider pulling the AVO waste gate actuator, the Alpine stereo (replacing with the stock), and the CF hood scoop (replacing with stock)

Would like to trade for a lesser expensive Forester/Outback plus cash, UNLESS I can convince my wife to trade in her Mazda3 then i'll go for a similarly valued vehicle.

Here are a bunch of pictures
http://nate.dingostick.com/images/vehicles/02WRX/[/URL]

The dyno measured 200HP to the wheels, so figure it does 265HP at the crank, compared to that model having 227HP stock at the crank.
would go WAY over 300HP with a bigger turbo.

It's AMAZING in the snow... but I've got 2 other cars and if I'm going to convince my wife to sell her Mazda3 and buy a Forester I need to sell my Bugeye. :-(

I did the build last year, and at the time didn't have money to install a bigger turbo.

Please don't offer me another fast car in a straight up trade.

car took a bit of damage to the hood and roof (roof is REALLY hard to see) from a recent hail storm. And the AC went out over the summer. I'm trying to find a time I can get it into the shop. Will consider reasonable offers until I get the AC fixed, then I'll be more firm on my price.

Asking $9500
