Default It's time to teach my boss how to set recurring meetings in Microsoft Outlook.

For the past hour I've been accepting various meeting requests that my boss is scheduling for the entire year. It's frustrating as hell.

A new thing that the company has started doing is sending out meeting requests when we have casual days. If we have casual day every day of the week, we get five separate meeting requests. This is coming from the CEO's main assistant too.

It frustrates me to no end that our company is severely lacking in computer skills, but they continue throwing money at things that require computer skills.

/rant.

hey look, in the time it took me to type this thread, i have three more meeing requests to accept!

Exactly the same here, only x eleventy. They use meeting requests/appointments when people call in sick and also for network/system outages and scheduled maintenance. I I've resorted to setting up rules to deal with them all.

Oh, and I really have no idea how people know what the **** is in their inbox when they have one inbox folder that has 5000 messages, 3234 of them unread.

The company just gives tools to people, but does not require them to know how to use them.

If every employee here went through a course for basic Outlook instructions, we could probably increase production by half.
