Default buddies ForcedFed Lotus Elise 380R

so i saw "The Exige" thread which popped up yesterday. funny enough, i just got back to fort lauderdale after driving my buddy down from chicago. he's moving back here after living there for 5 years, and this is his car.

the thing is insanely fast. like Enzo fast.

its basic breakdown of parts is, forged internals, titanium valvetrain, garrett gt28071, bosche porsche bov, dry sump oil system, EMI dash, the wheels weigh 7 & 9 lbs. respectively.

and here's a comparison vid i found online after riding in the car, i'll get some high res pics and some video at some point. enjoy.

The stripes are a lotus thing

but got to say amazing car...just sucks that it will be destroyed

The driver is no where close to being good enough to drive it like he apparently wants from the video. It will eat a wall and be toast.

Sweet car! But that Illinois license plate make the back end look so ugly. Your buddy should get some custom plate or something if they are available. But a great car none the less.

I'm not going to be an ass and say he can't drive....but I'm not sure that car wants to go around a track anymore. RWD and boost will soon = fail. Seems like it's better suited for a dragstrip now that he's made it too fast to handle. Either way it's pretty neat

Wow, if he slowed down and relaxed he would be faster. I drove like that my first time on a track too.

They are great for Pittsburgh sports fans...

My friend has decided if he ever gets one it will be the halo color, green with the yellow stripes, he went to Baylor, go figure.

http://www.forcedfed.com/elise/turbo...cedfed380.html

and the ohlins coilovers and alcon's won't help at all on the road course...mid-engine rwd plus power is only made for drag strip... right?

btw... i think you pretty much did say he can't drive... i'm pretty sure the car is a handful for ANYONE.

Pics of the motor/turbo set up would definately validate the "forced fed" title. With out engine bay pics, I might have to raise the BS flag.
