Poker - Meet ideas

So does any one else play poker here? Specifically Texas Hold'em? It would be fun to get a game together some time.

I have a few friends that I play with on a semi-regular basis, we like to mix it up and do cash games some weekends and tournament style other weekends.

We have a game out at our place every friday or saturday but we are in the valley. I'm down with some holdem. I can bring chips and cards and even a nice poker table if need be.

Dang sol0 and I both have to work till who knows when. I would love to come out and play though. What is the buy in? Do you have an estimate on how long you'll be going at it or the latest?

Damn, I'm supposed to go riding tomorrow (early) and if I don't I have a seat in a tournament in Anchorage tomorrow, don't want to loose my money two nights in a row lol.

This one is informal it goes to 5am usually. Its a cash game. Sit down buy some chips chash out when you want. They play all different styles for fun but mainly holdem. This game is out in the sticks.

When we do the games at our house we will do a tourny and cash game after. Typical buy in is $20.

FYI there is no raking the pots or any crap like that to keep it legal. The house makes no money.

We can bring the poker setup out to the RB/GH gathering on Saturday if anyone wants to play some there. Assuming they have some room for people to sit at a table.

I am still trying to figure out a weekend to host one, don't have enough room for two tables though.

good to donate about $60 - $100 when I play. I never win
so it really is a donation.

A good friend of mine just got back into town though. He is
known for having good games at his place just about every
night. If you make it up to the 'Banks, give me a shout and
I'll line something up. Then you can take my money up here.

It's all for "entertainment" in my eyes anyway. I wouldn't
gamble it if I couldn't afford to lose it.
