Never mind the fact that your making less than a stage 2 sti on a 20g lol.
missing valve seat would be obvious with a dump to atmosphere ewg.
does it have any exhaust leaks? pre turbo.

An EVO 9 w FP Red only put down 350 on the same dyno. Stock STIs put down 210. My stage 2 setup put down 245. Okay I'll have to look into that. No exhaust leaks.

Can you guys elaborate more on what exactly you mean by a missing valve seal?

The ewg has a valve seat that sits between the ewg and the uppipe flange for the wg. if that seat is not there it will not seal. causing a massive pre turbo exhaust leak.

The seal is there and everything is all tight. I'm 99% positive that I have no exhaust leaks.

Do you have a boost gauge? Do you feel your car spooling at 5k on the streets?

What does your tuner think?

What have you done to check for exhaust leaks?

If your ewg is routed back into the exhaust it would never sound like a leak

Yes. Yes full boost comes on roughly at 5k. He isn't sure. Though I know I'm not perfect, I've checked everything hands on.

Perhaps your hotside is a bit small for this build. This could explain the reduced tq - 2.5's should generate more tq. than hp. unless they are getting choked off. I'd consider it -- believe me, as the owner of an hta68 I've done tons of reading on 7cm hotsides.

^^ He'd probably reach the limit of the APS intake before maxing the turbo. If anything, a smaller hotside is going to create better spool and less top end.

Either this is a ULTRA low reading dyno, or there is something going on. Even that big dip at 5600rpms is odd.

What's a Stage 2 STI usually put down?

He said about 245hp. I agree that is a noticeable dip, both hp. and tq. Be nice to see a boost plot.
