Absolutely awesome results. Maybe not the most amazing peak #'s, but basically 20g performance down low and of course the 40 picking up the slack from 5500 on.

So, what I should glean from this is that a properly set up twin scroll car is still a better idea?
Why did you start the graph at such a high RPM?

I don't know about compound charging, but a SC will make the same low end power in any gear, a turbo will not.

See how good your TS 35R spools in 1st or 2nd gear, then compare to this.

I am not at all advocating this mod route, but you have to see the facts for what they are, and many here look at a dyno done in 4th gear and figure that is the whp/wtq curve of X turbo/mod combo, and it is not the same on lower gears.

THIS IS A 2.7 LITER, hardly a good comparison. However I did show the borg warner results that have similar power at similar RPM. Like someone else said though I am guessing it should be quicker in other gears with the super charger on there. The real test will be 1/4 mile times, if it doesn't show real gain there then it isn't very functional even though it is a very nicely done setup.

I think for those who are looking to be different, the compound setup has its merits. Sorry to say, but rotated kits all look the same these days.. Single scroll, twin scroll, triplet scroll, whatever... Unless the turbo is getting mounted down low in the fog lamp location or under the engine, they all look very similar.

Yes, the 2.7L setup makes similar numbers, but again, it looks (from the outside) no different from any other rotated setup out there.

This actually looks different...

Thankfully, it seems to put up respectable numbers. Combine that with the rarity of this particular setup, and I think it definitely has its place out there.

He's making decent torque below 4000 RPM, and holding 575ish whp all the way out past 8000 RPM. (looks like 8200 or so?) Not as much midrange torque with this car, but to me that appears to at least in part due to getting the kinks worked out between the supercharger and turbocharger transition.

The powerband of this car would be great for the track though, especially coming into tight turns.

IDK, but the reduced back pressure of his system might make it lower then you think.

This kind of setup, while doing well at the 1/4 mile, is PERFECT for autocross.....

Grats on the completed setup. Props to having the balls to stick that kind of money into the build. It's good to see people trying new things.

Give us your car for 2 years and this setup could be yours!!!!!

for days at "Pinky Tang"

Cover says 604whp......graph shows ~580whp

Does the article mention that with the fantastic ECUtek software that all OBD2 readers will not work....romraider logger will not work....no other loggers/scanners will be able to read anything from the car......and that if you want to recoupe any of the $900 spent on the ecutek software that you must remove the ecu and sell it? just curious.

"Supercharger torque, turbo power, Daily-driven"

Come on now.... I'm all for new stuff, and the point of this kit. I'll even vouch for the quality of the kit. But to call it daily driven?! When was the last time the owner drove the car?
