Hey all , gonna see if i can revive this thing . the 27th i will be goin to Phx to check on the car so there will be a bunch of updates soon . the engine machinist is finally done with the sleeving , o-ringing , balancing , etc. so we can finally start goin back together and begin the fun stuff
A hand built intake manifold is in the works so that should be interesting . also sqeezing a 40r next to the S/C will be a good one . i was pondering doing a pressurized(hood scoop) turbo air box . like a shaker style where the filter will stay witht the car and the hood scoop just seals to it . ANYWAY , to answer a Q i saw . the supercharger is a twin screw off of an AMG C32 . its pretty big , which is why we are going to have a new set of pullies made to really turn up that supercharger !![]() Stay tuned and keep 'er between the ditches ! |

How many lbs of boost are you planning putting down from the turbo and also the sc? And do you have the turbo before the sc then have it route around the sc once a certain amount of boost his attained?

When I finally get around to reinstalling my motor for my compound setup again, I have switched to a bigger turbo. This time I plan on installing the turbo so that the inlet is over the transmission.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-32psi. day to day , probly like 25ish . I ran the last setup on 24 and it was baddddd . and now with a bit higher compression it should really be nice. as for the routing and such , check the posts...

Bump for pics
And this is how I am planning on using my new turbo for the reinstall of my own compound charge set up... ![]() I couldnt find this picture back when I wanted. Anyway, I see it as a great way to stick a massive turbo in AND feed the supercharger. |

HaHa, I do have a thread...
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...y+supercharger But I just want to see a well done setup with money poured into it! I just try to make big power inexspensively.... And with the economy the way it is, my rebuild may be taking awhile..... ![]() |
