04-07 sti seats? those would be STi Limited seats and they're leather. 08s are black and JDM Spec C's are black.

I'm not sure if that answers your question.

No the older Spec C seats were black and the same cloth material. Somebody on here had them..go search the members car gallery and then pm him.

Edit...the user is 06AWD, he had black spec c sti seats in his TR. I think he was selling them...not sure.

i believe what i am looking for are the JDM version the guy at the local subie shop has them in his. he said they are super hard to find. they are the same material as the STI seat but they are black and have a black STI on them. he has the entire interior fronts, back and door panels. the guy is the owner of the place and said that he had to buy an ENTIRE car for the set.

I've seen them here for as cheap as $800, think they lasted less than a few hours and required your stock STi seats in trade (so $1300.00 if you include the value of your seats), but $2000-$2800 seems to be the average to what I see. That is unshipped as well, shipping seats is very spendy

Lasting hours is about right. Everyone wants them haha. And yes, shipping is up there in price.

I believe its only the front and rear. If you can find some that can re-wrap your door cards in Alcantara, then it will match nicely.

I believe you can send your door cards out to this company:
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/dressup-...-products.html

And they will re-wrap them for you to match.

I think the front JDM door panels are different due to them being RHD, you'd have to rewrap yours. There are a few companys that will do it for a charge.

If you have a 02-04 I'd suggest converting over to 05+ and rewrapping those to keep it as Spec C looking as possible.

As far as I know, V8/V9 Spec-C seats are blue. If you want black you need to search for the Spec-C RA or RA-R seats.

Here are my V9 Spec-C RA seats. I performed a base swap to add height adjustability to the driver's side seat.

I bought these from a private seller on Nasioc, I had to drive to Phoenix, AZ to pick them up. The fronts, rears, and 4 doorcards were $1900, plus gas for the 800 mile roundtrip. I bought these back in early 06, I was extremely lucky to get the set for less than $2000. My coworker also bought a set, after duties and taxes he had about $2400 in his seat/doorcards.

Here are some more OEM black STi seats.

V7 or S202

WR1-aka Petter Solberg edition
Appears to be same as V8 Spec-C RA seat

The V8 and V9 are almost identical, except the V9 has a ribbed fabric section on the side bolsters and trangle insert on the seat bottom. The V8 inserts are smooth.

Man those seats are SO sexy. in my opinion they are almost NEEDED if you are getting a car other then Blue. i just don't think a black or silver car look right with blue seats. but that is my personal opinion.

another alternative is the black recaros off an evo. take it to a upholstery place and have them stitch the sti logo on it.

Idk if the Evo has any of the same airbag system in the seats like the STi does. I know the newer ones have a bladder that senses if a person is in the passenger seat or not. Just something to keep in mind.

Is it possible to dye the standard USDM STi seats to a darker color, or even black. Maybe a color similar to the 08-09 STi seats...
