Talking Columbus, Ohio sighting!

I saw a 4-door RS in Upper Arlington today, coming out of the Blockbuster at Zollinger and Northwest Blvd. After that I think it went into the Big Bear in back of Kingsdale. Just wondering if this guy/gal is on the board.

Wasn't me, but my part of town(like two blocks from my house!)(N. Star & N. West)

What color was it?

They sure seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately don't they? I barely saw any over the winter, then this week I bumped into like 5!

Wow! I'm like right down the road from you at N. Star and Zollinger!

BTW - it was just a simple BRP Impreza RS. I couldn't tell if it was a 2000 or 2001, but I'm guessing a 2000 because it had the old Ohio license plate (just white w/ blue letters/number, and in the 6 character "ABC 123" style (as opposed to the 7 character style of the new plates)).

That's pretty funny! Never would have thought you lived that close. I was just thinking of moving up into that area a few weeks ago too. Decided to stay where I'm at(W.F.Ackley sucks).

We should drive out to Eastland together.

I've got no idea who that sedan was, but I doubt that he's on the board. It seems like there's only four of us Columbites who come here to play. You, myself, Rob and Sean...

Heh! Maybe Alex would let us start our own Imp club. It could be the N. Star Impreza Club! Or we could call it N. Star Impreza Neurotica Club and people would call it N.SINC!!! okay I can't believe I just made that joke and thought it was funny...

There used to be a few more people from around here on the board, but i haven't seen posts from any of them for a long time. The guy that introduced me to the board moved to new jersey and a few of the others have just seemed to fade away. The few attempts i have made to recruit people haven't done too well.

I made a little drive up to Byers today, saw Chad's car. Pretty sweet, that was the first time i had seen it. I didn't go talk to him though, but i saw his car. I hope he goes, it would be cool to have someone at the meet with forced induction.

Anyone go to the first auto-x today? I wanted to go, but i was out way too late last night and didn't get up and out of the house in enough time. When i drove by they were hading out trophies it looked like.

Anyway, see you guys at the meet saturday.

Where was the Auto-x? I would have gone to watch if I'd known about it... To bad.

Audiguy, I hope you don't think I'm some kind of freak, but when she woke up this morning my Fiance started talking about Panero Bread for breakfast. So I figured I'd drive up N. Star and see if I could spot your house. Sorry, it was just on the way and curiosity got the better of me. Nice back yard! I'm jealous. Plus that drive way is very cool, all decorated with the Subies and that black Audi! Double jealous... Like I say, if that is too much of an infingement, I am sorry. I felt wierd driving past(pictures of guys with child porn rings being walked to the B&W cruiser in cuffs, running through my head )

Saw a realy cool dog at Panero's though! Like a long hair Husky, the guy said he didn't know what kind of mix it was, he'd only got it two weeks ago. It was a very pretty dog though, great blue eyes!

Ohio Valley Region Solo 2 Schedule 2001 Season
That's a link to the schedule and on that site there is a map i believe of where it is. The next one should be the weekend after the meet. I'm thinking abotu racing some of the events this year. I'll have to see what's going on.

I realized after my first post that the big Hocking Hills Drive is next weekend. Unfortunately, I will be out of town. Anyway, how hard would it be to start an Ohio Region on i-club?

Think they tried, didn't fly. Then there is lersoc, Lake Erie Region sub owner club... They allow us columberg people in...

We should all get together! Those big parking lots they put in that field by the Schot. are perfect! Go set up a mini course? Wait for the next snow! I played out there this last winter, mucho funno!

Yeah, I joined the LERSOC e-mail list. I'm from the Cleveland area originally, so it's easy to understand what they're talking about. It would be nice to "unite the clans!"

Cool

Hello. Tis me again.

I went to the Auto-X on Saturday with my buddy but I guess we went way too late...around 3 p.m. There wasn't a soul around!

I'm moving up to Worthington in July so I'll be closer to everybody. I live in Hickville, a.k.a. West Jefferson right now. There is actually a BRP RS in West Jefferson, but I know he isn't on this board. He has a blue Neon set up for SCCA too.

We could set up our own BB if someone had access to a server?

Silas, are you that guy that is cruising around Upper Arlington stalking young girls?? Ha ha! Just joking!

Get away you non-columbus person

Just kidding. Those guys are nice to us so i guess i better be nice to them. You guys up there are a blast to hang out with and you're welcome donw here any time. If you're ever in town, give me a call. I'd be more than happy to get together. I'd say i'll show you around, but you know the area. **cough** DeVry dropout **cough**
Anyway, see you saturday.

Rob

Oh, Sean, the auto-x was sunday not saturday. And they finished it up around 5:30 i think was when i went by. You had the wrong day. For the most part, they are always on Sunday down here, sometimes they have two events one on sat and on on sun. Here's a Schedule of the auto-x's this year.

I'm going to try to make it to some more this year and hopefully enter a couple.
Rob

AudiGuy, are you goign to the meet on saturday?

You saw me on the new! Yeah, they used my full name and everything! Not that had to, I mean how many Silas's are wandering around Columbus? But yeah that's me out doing the Cruise and Trawl... Easter candy came in real handy! I mostly hang around the UA and Grandview schools but I sometimes make it up to Worthington too(I graduated Thomas) If you want I can bring a few Littluns to the meet? I try to keep one on hand at all times, but it's not that hard to get some extras. You just need to get your order in by Wednesday.

I'll stop now, this is getting a little sick.

BUT, speaking of things to eat, I picked up some chips and soda for the meet. I saw the lersoc people were talking about it so I'll tell them too. But I figure at least we'll have a little snack while we're down there.

Later
