Default Stromung Midpipe Help! Need Help FAST!

Im ordering a stromung 2.25" midpipe for my 2.5rs but i have the current(stock) midpipe rotated so it fits with the jdm sti genome that i have on there right now..

i am sure if i order a 2.5rs midpipe through stromung.. it wont bolt upto my axleback.. is the 2.5i angle any different in ways of possibly helping me out.. what do i do?

help please!

Well I prefer to look at it this way. Why pay all that money for that piece if you are going to have to slice the end off of it and make it worth alot less than it was.

If I was you custom is the way to go.

Now the 2.5i midpipe would have the proper axleback flange but I believe its longer. But to get the true proper answer you can just pm them at boxerracing and they should be able to tell you

I would PM boxer for sure but I do know that the STi Genome will bolt up to the stock (06/07) 2.5i midpipe as the axelback portions on the exhaust are the same as the WRX/STI on the 2.5i

So with that logic, if you already cut/extended fit your mid pipe to fit the Genome, then why are you just ordering the Stromung midpipe? I could see if you went with a full stromung setup but....

shop quoted me around a 100 bucks to build together a midpipe using my stock flanges out of 2.25" piping...

worth the spending?

i mean that is not bad at all if you are ok with not having your stock midpipe anymore. But also make sure the piece is stainless steel, and find out how they make it.. mandrel bend or crush bent etc

well i have the 2.25" piping... i have recieved it from a buddy of mine who works at a piping shop.. it is steel not stainless.. a bit lighter and it is also coated in a serious amount of high temp paint haha
