Default Feeler FS: 04 WRX Wagon w/ 2.5 hybrid, sunroof, etc (maintained/built by Andrewtech)

I hate to do this, but might need cash to sell our townhome in order to get a real single family home. The car has a 2.5 liter motor w/ WRX heads (installed last summer, so low miles on the motor). Plenty of goodies including suspension, STi seats (w/ airbags transferred over), UTEC, etc. Car made 313whp/311 tq after TurboXS tuned it. It's a one-off since 2004 wagons didn't have sunroofs...but the dealership had one professionally installed for a customer who backed out.

Let's see if I can remember what's on it:

Engine/Exhaust
2.5 liter shortblock
self-ported exhaust manifold
TurboXS uppipe
Perrin electronic boost control solenoid (EBCS)
VF39 Turbo (stock STi)
Samco silicone hoses
Griffin Racing radiator
Radiator shroud
TurboXS TMIC (v1 HUGE!!!!)
TurboXS UTEC (engine management)
Helix 3" catted high-flow downpipe
Greddy 3" exhaust

Suspension/brakes/wheels
Koni inserts
Eibach Pro-kit Springs
Front/Rear brakes: Project Mu pads/Hawk HPS
Brembo cross-drilled rotors
Tribeca front sway bar w/Kartboy endlinks, IIRC
Whiteline rear sway bar w/Perrin HD rear endlinks
STi front brace for the wagon
Whiteline front/rear (quick release) wagon strut tower braces

Body stuff
STi front - fenders, bumper, STi splitters (so you basically get a wagon w/ a sedan front)
fog lights - HID upgrade (need to replace 1 bulb, I'll do that)
STi hoodscoop

Miscellaneous
STi front seats (2006)
Autometer Boost and EGT gauges
Autometer bezel gauge cluster
Kartboy shiftknob

Currently on stock wheels w/ winter tires.

Mileage: about 81k miles on the body. The motor has maybe 9k miles? The body is in really good condition with the exception of some door dings thanks to my neighbors mostly.

Fluids: Mostly used Motul for oil, changed regularly except the last time w/ the 2.0 liter..., Lightweight Shockproof in the tranny (changed every year), Redline in the rear diff (IIRC - changed every year).

Price: $13,000 obo. I realize there's a lot of great deals out there, so am willing to entertain offers. This is a well-sorted wagon ready for autox, daily driving, etc. Rallycross, not so much (too low). I'll try and get some pics soon.

Please feel free to contact me or ask around. It's a very well-sorted wagon that's been maintained by the guys at Andrewtech and TurboXS. Many folks have seen it at NOVA meets and a couple autocrosses.

EDIT: sold!

Bump. This is well cared for car and a good deal for the next owner.

PS: You should look for SFHs in Prince William County. PWC has plummeted in new home values and you can get a steal of a new home on the cheap. One just down the road from me, sold new in 05’ for 650k, got foreclosed last year, just sold for 300k. Wow!

We love our area and the wife wouldn't think of moving that far from her work. Current commute is about 7 mins. If rogue found us a SFH in his hood, she'd probably move closer to wifey.

Dunno...but I figure fluids are cheap investment. Remember when I said I'd change the oil AFTER the fateful autox (didn't even check the oil level!)? It got me a new 2.5 liter and I got to port my stock exhaust manifold. But cost several thousand dollars.

I really don't want to deal w/ the headache of returning to stock or partially going that route. There's just too much goodies for the whole package. It's such a well-rounded wagon. Not much left to do except get a bigger turbo or a fancy headunit. All the basic beefing up is done, it's got plenty of torque, handles really well for a wagon....

NOTICE THE OLD WAGON FENDERS....THEN THE SEDAN FENDERS....

here's some from Acquacow's pics (Subaru Challenge) and the last Mach V charity meet. Too bad the weather's nice and no camera right now. I'll probably ask Matt_H to detail the car soon prior to sale.

Yes. I'll be back with a Subaru soon....just need to worry about a single-family home first (sell townhome, buy house, buy Subaru or....maybe EVO).

Thanks! Yes, I asked Acquacow (the action shots I skanked from his website) to swing by this weekend to take some interior, engine, and current body pics. There's a couple of door dings (passenger side) from the neighbor.

If you're in the area and want to swing by, let me know. I'll be in Germantown, MD Saturday night - Sunday morning.
