just look at any 2.5L turbo subaru. the dyno #'s are all relatively similar.

IE a 2.5L WRX with a 20g will make pretty much the same power as a 2.5L Sti with a 20g.

Although the WRX will most likely be a little faster in the 1/4 due to the weight and gearing.

Hmmmm. True. But if the 20g is tuned to its potential I do not see it getting down the track very successfully. Even if you consider a factory safety factor of 1.5, @ 380-400whp the transmission will more than likey fail.

I think this thread is more about seeing which 09 guys/gals have taken the plunge and actually started to mod their cars. Not really how much HP they make off a certain setup..... when I see a 09 I dont think of it being modded. But if i see 02-07 I'm looking for some type of parts.

Then again I could be wrong

Your warranty is voided. You were fooled into thinking that a contract exists. Even your SPT exhaust is for "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" and is not covered under warranty besides its own 1 year warranty for a manufacturing defect.

You used non-OEM parts, altered the ECU settings, etc. If the motor blows (like a ton of 09's have) you will not be covered.

I had the exact thing happen to me a year ago. My 05 had a VF34, it blew after 2 years of fun, they would not cover b/c they saw the mods, the found my mod list online and they found pics of me driving the car on a local race track (not drag strip).

Damn! I never thought about them doing that, guess its a good thing I have no official mods list. However I have close to 80K miles on the car soooo it really does not matter my warrantee went by by a while ago
