Yeah he was a super cool guy I ran into him at Sno-Drift in 2009. This is the only shot of him I got at a service stage. He was having a great time!!!

These are a bit later, but from Friday, April 29. I did not get everyone in these pics, there were four more that showed up later...

Does anyone know where I can get a fender roll without messing up my paint? Any ideas anyone?

I think you have to heat it as you roll it, so the paint is more flexible and doesn't crack.

What ever you do it's gonna crack. Just don't stare at it. Haha. Heat doesn't do jack. Ask anyone.

Installed some parts yesterday

Whiteline Roll-Center Adjusters, MSI Direct Steering Kit, Kartboy rear diff outrigger bushings, and TiC Rear Diff Main Bushings.

Thanks to John, who talked some sense into me, I bought the TiC ball joint removal tool. It saved us from hours of trouble... I took some pictures to show how great this tool works. It takes approximately 3 minutes two remove each ball joint with it (that includes the time it takes to line up the tool and thread the bolt)

The steering feels great now, the steering feels more responsive and the car feels more willing to go where you want it to. Bumpsteer was also greatly reduced and the bushings have added little/no additional nvh. (no more clunk!)

Now for the alignment!

BTW, if anyone is thinking of doing their ball joints... I'll sell you the tool for $25 shipped, it's $45 from TiC.

MSI is one of the most innovative companies doing stuff right now. I saw some one off pieces they did for a guy doing abuild on here and they were amazing.

Mark,

Glad it worked out well for you

I have always wondered how much of a difference the Whiteline Roll Center Adjusters make...I have been weary of them as well as the original ball joints were too small and caused a lot of issues haha. However I heard WL rectified that issue and gave people a new set of ball joints.

Also you should come up to Grissom for the AutoX on June 4/5, should be a great time.

Yeah, WL completely fixed the ball joint issue. Everyone that had issues no longer is having them. There haven't been any negative posts on here since like 2009 or something.

I'd love to come up for that autocross, but I have an exam for work on June 9th that I'm sure I'll be tied up with... A trip to MI probably wouldn't be the best for me, lol... I will definitely try and make it back up there for an autocross sometime this summer, though. The site here is pretty bad...

While I'm not a fan of the Subaru service at Delta, if you can get Brady to align the car, he is great.
