Yeah I noticed that too...I guess I will get 2nd place atleast lol

For whatever the reason, not many people are showing up to Race in SM this year at SCCA events. I may plan to go race at GVSU next week Saturday and I am sure there will be a decent SM turn out for that event.

LoL, I know too. I was trying to point out that it was a typo and enjoy it a little bit, but apparently it's backfired.

It was a long, long day lol. I meant 350 miles out of a single tank. My mistake.

I would do the paint myself but I'm thinking of riding these for a few years, I'm kind of undecided about it, I also can't paint if my life depended on it, but I might wing it and paint them my self.

Its not hard to paint them yourself. Just take your time prepping them ( paint prep is key to a good paint job) And take your time sparying. If you rush you will get runs.

I have had really good luck with spraying wheels and them looking nice for a long time. I redid my RSTi wheels with Rustoleum Black Night Metallic paint and it looked awesome, so awesome that everyone swore they were powdercoated. I did spend days prepping them, priming, sanding, and painting them.

I guess order coating and self paint might be, this will save me some time and frustration with the crappy paint. Thanks for the heads up on the local sand blasting place.

We just got 420 miles on just over 3/4 of a tank. Was getting 34mpg. Granted it was on the 09 impreza. I think we could get very close to 500 miles on the tank if I could drive that long without stopping.

Do you have any close ups in that color? I've been thinking about painting mine that color.

How does one tell the difference between PC and paint?

I mean besides PC filling impefections better?

I'd like to see better pics of that color too...

The Duplicolor graphite is pretty cool, its actually made up of mostly "anthricite" flakes, with a health dose of Bronze/Copper, and even some Silver mixed in... it's semi-dynamic as you look close and see different things (doesn't dissappear in pics either)

Did any of you come out to MerQ'fest in Kzoo yesterday? I was tryin to talk to as many people as possible..

Came across an 08+ blue hatch being pulled on a trailer by a van heading west bound on M20 just outside of mt pleasant. Looked like they just came from a race as it was decked out in numbers...anyone here?
