Default Brake Pad Install-Legacy

Need to get some brake pads installed on a Leggy GT, anyone have recommendations on where to check around GR (already purchased the pads)?

Thanks all...

Installing pads is super easy to do yourself.

Thanks for the response, unfortunately a general lack of tools, time and space call for having them done by a shop. I've changed a set with some freinds several years back but that was with borrowed space and tools.

Need to replace the tires as well, was hoping to do the pads and tires both at Belle but they won't install customer parts.

Thanks again for any input...

Hey guys, new to SW michigan pretty much! Got here last year but haven't been doing much car stuff. In Kalamazoo atm in medical residency.

Anyway question is, I need a clutch install and don't have the time to do it myself. Any good shops or dealers that will put in a stage 2 competition clutch for a reasonable price?

I have an 04 sti - black if you see me around.

Who did I pass next to gardellas on Ionia around midnight Friday night? It was dark but wrb sedan I think. Then like right after some drunk dude came running across the road from gardellas yelling, "whoooooooo subie!" It probably would have been me if I didnt have to go tailgating in the am hahaha.

Where are you doing your Residency? Bronson or Borgess?

It's really up to Todd. I was at Chris Cooneys last night and he's down for a Subie meet.

Again we will try to do this at studio so even the youngins came partake.

We need a date. Let's hash it out. Pick a day for next week:

We work at both. Residency is through MSU and then the Kalamazoo campus but sponsored by both hospitals. I'm at Bronson right now. I work in the ERs mostly.

If we get a day scheduled I'd be happy to come but I should know soon so I can actually order my clutch ><

Also what do you do for the flywheel? is there a place close to get it machined quick or do you have like a community flywheel like we used to have when I was in Indianapolis?

ALright well I'm gonna order my clutch then maybe we can shoot for Saturday?

So all in all we ended up getting 284whp/299lbs tq on e85 and a ****ty vf39. Not too shabby for a car that only had under 200 from the factory.

Still want a 20gXT though. Maybe I will wait till spring.

Where and or who did you have it tuned? Do you have a VD or Airboy of it yet?

Whp seems a tad low unless you're talking about Mustang numbers. I'm making 291 on the dynojet setting on Virtual Dyno.

Yeah we backed it off for reliability. I need it to spool quick and next mods will be lightening and real suspension. Might do ewg just cuz. And 20G. We'll see.

Renosubby on here tuned it.

It was a pita to tune these five 0 1000cc injectors on 93. Too much headroom. As soon as we went to E85 it was butter smooth. I am happy with it feels good.

I want to get some C Overs for Rally X setup and AutoX. Thats gonna be a tuffy. Of course on a budget,

You want to run Rally X on Coilovers, but still be good at AutoX. Does such a setup exist?

It would be such a pain to switch out each time. Todd is running King springs for his setup.

Really stiff and high.
