I am saying that when you check the wheel bearings make sure the parking brake is not applied.

If it has slop it's going. Put it this way. I had about a1/16 of an inch last summer when I took a trip to holland. Thought it would be ok. When I got back it was a 1/4 in.

Kinda scary.

You ever seen this jack asses on the side of the road with a wheel missing. That's what happens when a bearing lets go

Lol

It should be at zero that way no fluid is pushing out the pin of slave cylinder. Is the slave cylinder for the 6 speed or 5 speed? Or would it matter? Idk

I also believe that w the pull clutch you need to press on the fork hard so that it engages w the throwout bearing for the first time. Maybe thats the case?

Figured I'd introduce myself to you guys really quickly. Don't have my Subaru yet but I'm looking to pick one up by the end of April, specifically the 5-Door Hatch in Satin White. Look forward to getting to know all the other Subaru Owners around GR!

Not sure where I'm going to pick it up from. I've talked to someone over at Delta Subaru but wasn't particularly impressed to be completely honest. I have found a few of them down in the Chicago Area and if I have to drive down there to get it, it's not the end of the world.

2012... If I wasn't going to be using it for my job I'd consider picking up something Used but I rack up miles on cars like crazy so I essentially need a clean slate.

If I can ask, who did you work with down there? I bought mine from Delta and had great service the whole time.
