Yeah buddy, a 2.5 Hybrid is the way to go for you! I think the ej22 would be better suited for a DD, so with that in mind, what would you want for it?

If I were you I'd look into getting your heads CNCd to get the same combustion chamber volume as the Sti. Otherwise you will not be at the stock.compression any more.

It isn't.too much money either, I believe.around $400. As for the short block.price, you could get a new one of those for $1850 +- $50 and sell the pistons for $100. That's about what.I paid from mike at built industries in Florida. he will drop pistons in too if you want him to. Good Guy.

Tell him I sent you for a possible price decrease.

CP pistons all the way!

I would have the combustion chambers flared out to match the bore of the 2.5L block at a minimum. For sure!

have any of you heard of the world record attempt for the most subies in one place? apparently theres going to be a parade through elk city i think(?) about a 5 hour drive for me just wondering if anyone else has heard of this, i searched the forums but didnt see anything about it..

Yes - it is for Mathew Marker, the guy who passed last year rallying in oregon I believe. Died in a rally crash.

There are tons of us going from down here in GR. I don't know of a cruise from here to there, but three boots on the east side of the stateare all going as a big convoy.

ok cool cuz i wanna go if i can get the time off work cuz i kid in my local car club sent me an invite and i think its really cool, apparently the record to beat is 339..thats of lot of subarus! i put that i am going on the fb page and want to register soon, might be moving to VA so figured that would be a fun stop and be a part of something that big for a good cause and see a ton of other subies =)

He did my 2004 black Sti today and did an awesome job. I had a lot of little scratches and imperfections before, now The car looks brand new. Better then when I bought it. I HIGHLY recommend.
