Yea, that was me. If I was by the cars you should've came up. But I know what you mean about some not so friendly ppl. May go out tonight, weather permitting. Or you should come out to grattan on Monday.

We need to see if we, being nasioc could get a track day in at a discount.

This autox is totally different from a real track day. But it's a good primer. This track has a lot of big boy elevation changes and you need to pay attention or go off.

...and that's exactly why I've never gone to Sonic. I've been to car meets before that are mixed, and been to a couple bike nights, and you always get the same attitudes: Their **** is awesome and doesn't stink, and your little Jap-Crap needs to GTFO. Of course, you mainly get the attitudes from guys who are in to domestics (either car or bike), but there are also Euro-snobs, but that's different because their stuff normally is a bit better.

I should be out at Grattan on Monday, but I won't be running my junk. I found out one of my CV's busted the metal ring that holds the grease-boot on, broke at some point and it's been flinging grease everywhere.. It's fixed VERY temporarily, but I can't thrash on it until I get a good metal exhaust tie on it for a permanent fix. I'm looking forward to seeing all you out there though.

Rob I am switching my car back to E85 tomorrow for the race and I am going to run my old Hoosier A6's. So I will be ready to compete for 2nd place...behind Mike haha.

I haven't even scrubbed these tires yet so i doubt they will even grip.

Its a real shame too. There was a Ferrari there last night, or a lambo didnt really look at it. There was a few euro cars too and some domestic muscle cars. Checked those out :P. There were some cool people but as I said, a lot of dick heads, and some of the subie guys bought theirs from the dealer and didnt know **** about the car. Grattan? Whats that? As I said Im new around here.

Grattan is a Road Track located in Grattan, MI. The AutoX is taken place on the Track on Monday. You can check out their website at www.grattanraceway.com

I almost did the same when I had a Lambo parked next to me at Delta. I had to actually think about what it was. It's pretty easy to confuse them when you don't pay attention to them.

I wouldn't go THAT far... It's just not for me at all. I think if everyone dropped the attitudes it would be a great meet up. I appreciate all cars, especially ones that have been worked on and the time their owners have invested in them, but I don't appreciate the mindset that if you don't own X-Brand, you're a super-douche.

Aron: Do you still have that intake? Neil is having issues with his and he wants to pick it up from you. He says he can come get it from you, or if you're going to be at Grattan tomorrow maybe I can convince him to stop out to hang out and get parts at the same time.

Yes that was excessive but always had bad experiences there.

Manitou and I ( Traverse City & Cadillac ) are trying to get him to come over here to tune us, and if we can get some more people interested it might work. If we get enough he could tune from Chicago to Traverse City haha.

Maxwell power in in Washington state.Dominic has many positives, he's doing custom long rod short blocks and he's very good at Tuning. He can tune on vipec, aem, AP and I'm sure open source as well... shoot him a message and ask of you're interested, the more interest the more chances he'll come.

There is no way for the handheld unit to know what your AFR is, as it is not part of the onboard diagnostics (obd2)
