131 south after 9-10pm for higher speed stuff

for lower speed stuff i am not sure its a longer drive but all around my house its str8 roads with fields on both sides that would work you could stop on the side alot to make adjustments to the tune

It won't be high speed. 3rd to redline (95ish).

i would just jump on the freeway for that if i were you...anything around downtown seems sketchy to many people its rush hour right now so i am sure its perfect time to go 95

I just did my 4th gear pulls for my E-tunes on the freeway just hold back then yolo it on a off time...that was like 50-110mph fun like once then its annoying to have to continue it

Yeah, my third gear pulls I did on the on ramps, then slowed back down by the time I was merging into traffic.

Aron, any news from your brother about the exhaust? I called a shop in Muskegon and they quoted me a cheaper hourly rate than your brother, but I'd have to take time of work because there only open weekdays, and there is no way that's hastening with how busy I am at work right now. And would you mind bringing the shifter assembly and TGV assemblies in to work one of these days? I'll swing by when I get out of work and pick them up.

Rob, I've got a line on a 3.90 rear diff, do you want it? Stock WRX axles slide in, and it's from an older Legacy. 50 bucks.

look for an early 90s legacy turbo rear end. thats what i ended up useing because it had the lsd vs open that the new wrxs have.

I was saying that I could go with the other guys, but I'd have to take time off work to do that so your brother is actually much cheaper. Let me know when works well for him please, I'd like to get this thing banged out soonish.

Thanks man. I think I got all the wiring squared away, using fuse taps instead of splicing into the clock for power. Just trying to figure out which galley plug I want to tap into for the oil pressure gauge (have the relocation kit). I heard under the alternator is the easiest so ill probably go that route. Also need to figure out where to mount the senders.

Found a long block that I want... its in Chicago. How much do you think they weigh? How to get it home?

Drive n get it. I drove to Toronto for a transmission and delivered mine to Milwaukee. Its only a 3 hr drive.

Also - I shipped my long block for 145 on a pallet. Cadillac to NJ

I loaded mine in the back of my wagon when I had that, and it was a fully dressed motor, including full oil, minus the header. I suggest you just drive and get it like Levon said. Two guys can pick it up and load it. Bring an old tire off the wheel with you so you can set the motor on that (otherwise you'll pinch your fingers under the head).
