I think I can use the harness from the 5 speed?

So install is happening right now and I have a question about the 6 pin connector? Is that the dccd?

So can I just rip the harness to the reverse and neutral sensor from the 5 speed and use it for the 6 speed?

5 speed trans harness:

6 pin connetor on top of sti trans:

I think the only diff is that 6th pin. Meaning its the gear indicator. Which should be no big deal.

Oh and if you haven't put your rear end in yet. Just a helpful hint. Fill it first. Then install. Otherwise get out the turkey baster and have fun

6 pins are for the dccd too. I have some extra plugs I could take some pictures of.

You are doing with aftermarket dccd controller aren't you?

ha idk, i installed mine with out fluid in it.... then spent the better part of an hour with a turkey baster and driping gear oil all over my arm. thought it would be easier to just put fluid in first. but didnt think about the axle holes

The fill location is under the axle holes I believe. I used a transfer pump to fill my diff, but the fluid is so thick that I ebbed up breaking that. In the end I left the front horse-shoe bolted up and dropped the back end, put a funnel in it and poured the fluid in that way.

Kept old hubs for now I will switch over in spring! Need to find brakes. Isc is hooking me up with their mounts for the front when I go to 114. Might use them for a little longer!

Dude the whole thing feels better. More usable power band! So worth it! Got to find a controller!

So Louis You could prob use all the manual trans stuff I have and make you Saabaru a manual. Basically have the whole Drivetrain complete with mounts and Kartboy SS.

You will need a manual pedal box, master cylinder and should just be able to repin your bulk harness at the ecu. The ECU's are the same they just use a different pin on the ecu.

Question guys

This car for 17500, graphics are removed.
2006 Subaru STI $19000

http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/3320486982.html

Or this car
2006 WRX STI 72k miles $18900

http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/3396086373.html

White car will need all season tires or a snow set for sure. Graphics were also removed.

I am sure mine is different than what he makes now. However he really only offers 2 models, Manual and Auto DCCD with option of Manual control. Everything else is really accessories and how you want to integrate into the car.

I have pretty much an Auto dccd with manual option with just the basics that he supplies. Dont need to have fancy STI switches and show up on my gauge cluster.

Both look decent, the blue one looks unmolested.

Those graphics ob the white one are obnoxious!
