Honestly it's a deal, some people are just nervous to buy cars with over 100,000 miles if you don't know the car. You take a lot of risk with 100,000 miles like stuff braking down due to Michigan winters and that.

Now I could be wrong, but I'm just saying. Funny thing is I'm trying to buy one and can't find a decent priced one with under 80k miles.

You know what you paid for it, so depending on how much over that you want is how greedy you will be, that's all I'm saying. I'm not saying I wouldn't do the same (it's tempting considering how little I paid for my car and how much it's worth), but it depends on how long you're willing to sit on it and have two payments.

It's not a matter of being greedy lol. It's the damn near 20k loan for the Sti that I need to pay down. Plus the new couch the wife just picked out. Plus if she new about the Sti it would help.

Yeah all the right reasons for not telling her at the right reasons for not telling her. If that makes sense. She's pregnant and stresses easy. She knows I'm selling my car. But she doesn't do well with numbers to see the overall picture when it's all said and done. I'll drive my Wrx til it sells. Then I'll have some splainin to do.

Ill use some of the money to pay off the new couch and the rest to pay down my Sti. When it's all done I should take 2yrs off my loan and refi. Then my payment will only be 20/mo than I pay now and my loan will only be for one more year than I have on my Wrx. But I know she will have a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

LOL!

Has the timing belt & water pump been replaced? If so, that is a major selling point at 100k miles.

To sell it quick, list at $12,900 on ebay, craigslist (GR, detroit, chicago), nasioc, xceed, cars, autotrader.

The water pump was not changed. The Subaru mechanic that did the timing belt works at a Subaru dealer and said in 14yrs of working on subarus. Every water pump that he has ever had to replace had over 200k on them

I'm going to reopen the call for help. I have some sort of leak or something going on that has afr all over the board. Haven't driven car since Thanksgiving because of it.

Symptoms include :
Start up fine, afr rock solid at 14.5 -15.

After a warm up cycle the sensors kick in. And AFRs are all over the place. This tune has been confirmed to be good and got me 600 issue free miles.

What I think it could be :
O2 sensors: brand new 5 - 6 weeks ago
BOV (Just tore apart and compressed spring today to see if it was stuck slightly open)
Vacuum lines. This is my #1 guess.
Fuel: have enough fuel pump to overcome any small leaks, but I don't see or smell any
Does this only in closed loop. I was data logging the day it happened and I didn't knock, but if I'm light on the throttle for cruising or at idle it is all over the place

Passes 15psi boost test, didn't do a vacuum test. Any suggestions?

Will offer beer wild game, a crude sense of humor, and if your name is Travis a good deal in a trunk lid!

Mods? How do the AFR's look in the data log compared to your wideband?

What wideband are you using?

Mods...

They match, if you go to the last page in that thread above, you'll see a data log posted. I just need a fresh set of eyes to look at it because I've stared at my engine bay for too long.

AEM UEGO is my wideband
