Anyone have a fuel injector o-ring, or know where I can get them locally? I don't want to pay the 5+dollars a piece from the dealership if I can avoid it.

Would assume Napa would carry any O-rings you are looking for.

I tried NAPA, Auto Clinic, and Home Depot; none of them had the correct size. They all had the standard sizes, but none metric.

Looking at the O-Ring size chart, I may have these O-Rings at work though. One of the perks of working with hydraulics all day, we have this **** on hand. I just wasn't looking in the correct drawer..

Rob, do you want to buy the 5 Speed I had in my bugeye and swap the center diff? That will keep you busy, then you can flip it and make some money back from it.

IN CASE ANYONE EVER NEEDS TO KNOW, THESE O-RINGS ARE -109 SIZED. I SUGGEST VITON.

I need one.

I'll check at work tomorrow first. I may be able to have my shop order them for me at a discount too. Hell, McMaster Carr has a 50 pack for 5 bucks, so worst case is I buy them. :P

Let's rip your transmission apart and change it out. Worst case scenario is we have extra parts when we get done. Lol

I bought mine from oreilly auto, they usually have to order them, but they get them next day, the package contains the two o rings and the rubber seat for the injector body for under 4 bucks an injector

^^ Good to know!

I've had some orings fail on my injectors also - such a pain in the butt. Wish they had a more secure way of locking into place.

Travis, do you know the guys up at Subie Guys? I was wondering if they would do a drivetrain swap on the Sabaru.

I do. I have done a couple rally services with Grant, who is their lead mechanic. I'll message him and see what he says. Swapping the 4EAT for a 5MT?
