Save some money steal a stop sign and make a skid plate out of it.

Then buy snow tires. Most important thing in the winter!

On a different note I just took a down payment on the Wrx to hold it until the buyer can get a check from the bank.

The 16G-XTR says spool, but those headers will increase 2-400 rpm of your spool time (make it take longer). The stock headers have smaller primaries, so less volume to fill. They create a choke point compared aftermarket headers in the upper RPM range though.

With headers, you really should be going for a 20g or 30r. With a 16g you should have stock manifolds with ported crossover, STi or aftermarket up pipe with an external wastegate. Wrap the manifold, up pipe, and the first 4' of the down pipe and you'll get the best spool you can. Do TGV deletes and that spool will increase another 1-200 rpm.
So I ended up buying a Blouch TD05 18g XT, we shall see what the little 2.0 can do

It's gonna rock. If you get 1000 cc injectors and ewg my map would be a great starter map. LOL.

Also, add e85 to that mix. ****, an 18g with EWG and e85 is going to be a healthy 340whp. I'm jelly.

I shoot for Ewg all day but it's a little costly to switch out an already aftermarket upipe for the Ewg setup.

Also on blouchs site on a 2.5 they are claiming 430 hp. Prob flywheel but still. Great turbo.

If we could hold 280-300whp for a decent part of the mid range rpm that would be more then enough IMO.

*on e-85

If e-85 ever happens it seems like kind of a pain unless you live next door to a e-85 station
