Well my car almost runs alright lmao

Any ideas what could cause the rpm to hold steady at 4,000 rpm out of no where in neutral it just does its own thing till I restart the car it's not super common but has happened twice in my attempt to drive the car down the road

Leaks I'm sure they are there but that had to be massive I would think...I emailed a log of it to my tuner hopefully he can get the car running a little better so I can make it farther then across the street.

Random RPM hanging tells me your throttle lines/throttle body are stuck open. Why does restarting the car help though? Pull some logs of throttle position when that happens.

If you wanna pressure tester I have one, it is very primitive but it works, all you need is a air compressor hookup or a standard bike pump. I've only used it on my front mount couplers but I think it is the same size as the throttle body inlet would be.

If the car is MAF Based, a very small leak can make a huge difference. I agree with Travis, can you pull some logs and post them for us? Logging air fuel ratio would be great too

Who's tuning it. If he just gave you a base map don't even try to do a moving log until he figures out your idle, gets your ratios dialed and gives you corrections accordingly.

Build a boost leak testor. You will use it more than once.

He gave me a basemap and told me to do a 30min driving log after it warms up. I emailed him back the log so he can hopefully fix it. I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas on what i could try to fix/tighten while im waiting till chances are tomorrow for a reply from him with a new map or instructions on what to do.

Really can't do anything till he shoot you a map back but I would make sure you don't have ANY leaks. The last thing you want to do is get a tune started with leaks. It'll be a headache for him and the tune will be off.

Did you do a turbo inlet as well?

Eric from torqued performance he seems like a great guy, he almost always answers my emails on weekends or late nights super quick even though he may not make the most power out of the car, I have been happy with his past tunes.

--
Im not as worried now i got a revision 2 and it is like night and day started right up, its still really un driveable but i got him 2 15-20 min logs to fix that where as before i could not even pull a 5 min log so i could see why he could not fix it to much. With that first tune i was worried i somehow managed to completely screw the car ( still might be true lol).

It should just get better and better. Should take 10-15 revisions.

Are you logging A/F ratios too with a serial connector? Just watch those.

Sensor is in the downpipe, but my gauge won't get here from rallysport till mid week for some reason it is taking for ever to get here. We will be logging them by somehow tapeing or mounting hte gauge to the cluster and goproing the rpm+wideband not the best choice compared to using the serial connector but i am using accesport and im guessing to log it with that is a little harder.
