Thanks. It's definitely a different animal than my WRX, but a really great mod platform. Basically an STi with a plastic intake manifold and a VF40.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and try to make it out to the next meet up. I think there are a few GR guys on LegacyGT.com to.

thanks ha-ha

I would be slightly concerned about the lack of EGBP, not a huge deal but when 3" is cheaper, easier to mount up, and better for the motor i wouldnt go 4"

a dealer ship is going to charge you 16 legs 2 arms and a kidney to touch a car no matter what dealer ship it is

have a shop do the simple things like pads, rotors

Dealerships are going to charge a lot to just do simple work like pads and rotors. Better off just going to any typical shop or try to recruit someone on here to help you swap them out. Majority of us on here work on our own vehicles and have all the tools needed to do majority of any job that needs to be done.

Also What kind of Rotors you looking to purchase? I have a set of DBA 5000 2 piece Front Rotors and DBA 4000 Rear Rotors for sale. They have 1k miles on them, in excellent condition and not warped. Will take $600 for a local pickup. Here is my forsale thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2496346

Anyone know who drives the grey EVO IX with "MONEYPIT" license plate? I see him parked near my apartment on College Ave. often and he gave me a thumbs up as we drove down East Paris this morning to work. Seemed cool.

I hope so too, I only have 42k on it. But how I got my car was assbackwards from the dealer. So warranty is questionable.

Oh man, good luck! If dealer gives u trouble try calling Subaru of America. I've heard lots of promising stories of them really helping people out in these kinds of situations where things go wrong that shouldn't when warranty is expired.

Best of luck to ya.

Delta is... not a good dealer for Subaru. Buuuut if your car is stock they might extend the warranty since you're so close to the expiration, definitely ask them.

My struts went bad when I was 2k miles from MI and I was right at 36000 miles in my white STi. I called up williams auto and let them know of the issue. They replaced the struts when I made it back, close to 4k miles later.

Only thing I've done is replace the catback exhaust and swapped trucks. Nothing had been done to the engine at all.
