That didn't sound like a straight pipe, that sounded like a blown out *******. Hopefully whoever welded it at least used stainless wire?

We didn't have any stainless...haha. We sprayed it with some cold galvanize? spray ****. Meh, it will last the whole time I own the vehicle.

Hey does anyone have a decent slide hammer I can borrow. Installing the whiteline rear trailing arm bushings and need to get the backplate off so I can press them in. ****ers are hard!

And I just bought the wrong caliper pins for the rear brakes . ****ed that up awesome.

Yeah, mine was pretty quick for what it was, but I just kept looking at what I had yet to do to it, and the expense that was going to take, and I was quickly disheartened. I wasn't in love enough with the GD chassis to invest the time and money in to it to comfort myself into driving it how I wanted to.

One test drive of the BRZ on the other hand... That's my next platform; it's just a matter of time. =)

In the meantime: I'm driving my bone stock 95 LX wagon w/automatic and absolutely loving it. It's getting a brake booster upgrade, and some WRX brake hardware, but otherwise I'm not touching it.
