I've had the exact same thing happen on colder days like recently in Michigan. If you aren't tuned than your stock ecu should throw a CEL (check engine light) if you overboost. Was the acceleration smooth or jumpy with small surges of power? If you were getting irregular surges in your power curve, than you may have something else going on.

And with less humidity means more room for oxygen again, so more bang for your buck. This weekend had extremely noticeable power gains in Midwest mich due to the humidity/temp drop.

Anyone have a good cure for headlight housing condensation (on the inside)? I see no cracks or broken parts and randomly just started getting this. Doesn't evaporate either. 2010 wrx hawkeye with projector lens.

I know it's expensive but you should really consider a stage 1 cobb tune. Especially with the intake. You will get your money's worth. Most intake/axle back mod combinations result in 0hp-minimal power gains. Some actually have shown to get more power out of one OR the other (unless a tune is involved). Plus you can then monitor your boost, data log, and check other vitals.

This x100. Remember that dude that was in GR this last winter for like 6 months that had a hell of a time with his car because of his aftermarket intake? You don't need an aftermarket intake, especially on a stock car. But if you insist get a tune for it.

Undecided.......Burned out after a ****ing 10 hour autox day with WMR. It took 2.5 hours to get our first heat done. That Day was not worth my time! Track day was amazing though.

You know the issue I was having with the 4 pot dust seals, well no more problems eith those since I torched them on track! LOL

Need to mod some brake ducts and Ti brake shims for the front and possibly the rear. You live you learn! Kick ass day though!

They were touching 900 degrees off track in my paddock area! So heat was most likely causing my front end to shudder due to outgassing. At least thats what Ken from KNS Brakes thinks. Since rotors were new and I know I bedded them correctly.

Thinking about these with the fogs removed and adding the fake chargespeed covers:

Thanks man, turns out it took so long to get them, going to be happy to install my LCA's top hats, and then get everything set for install of these puppies. I'm also pretty happy the KW V3's didn't lower the car (well maybe .25" or less. nothing noticable at all)!

I have all day off, but no one else does, and this dealer is on the other side of Chicago, so I'm not sure I can get it Friday.

Needs a new brake line on the driver side though i think you could use your factory lines but mise well buy a new stainless one to match the other side.
