EDIT:infra red...I'm not too observant sometimes.
I need to get rid of it. The story is that my parents bought it for me without running a CarFax or having a mechanic check it out. Turns out that it was in two serious accidents and after having it checked out, it needs a lot of work and they don't feel safe having me drive it (I don't either). I need to remove that from my profile.

I have someone willing to sell me a 2.5RS, which is the car I really want. However, convincing my parents hasn't gone so well.

I have no experience in cars, there's no chance I can turn it into a project.

I have no clue how much we are going to ask for it, but we paid $3900 for it (76,000 miles)

Why would it be hard to convince them...they bought you a Focus SVT

Get it. What color is the 2.5RS

They are nervous we will get scammed again. They are also hesitant to buy a car with a manual transmission (don't know why).

It's a 2001 Silver 2.5RS

Is the seller a member on NASIOC? If it's local,I'm sure you could get one of us to take a look at it. Or someone who at least a little familiar with Subarus. Between that and a carfax, you'd be good man.

FYI-Meijer has good deals on Mobil 1 synthetic right now. I have been using 5w-40 turbo diesel truck oil for a while in my STi. It usually runs $7-8/quart and it's $20 per gallon right now at Meijer.

It's a guy from OAKOS automotive in Sterling Heights. He's a member of misubie.com which is how I got in contact, he might be a member of NASIOC too.

So is it modded? Not saying that's a bad thing if it is.

That's Bart's car. He is a really good guy. I don't think that the car is modded at all.

Ya, Bart's been great talking to so far. I think the car has a few mods, like a short shifter, shift knob, WRX front rotors, Legacy 11.4" rear rotors, DOT4 brake fluid, kartboy bushings, STi RSB, and a few other things. Nothing too major, though. Oh, and it has lime green stock RS wheels (lol)

So good mods.

I meant power wise, but yeah I forgot about the green wheels.

looking to borrow the following for a few days:

crank that will fit in ej205

ej20 pistons

I am in a talent show and going to do a super quick build of an ej205 (my coffee table) but I no longer have the SB internals.
