yes it is time for a meet.... its so nice to have the window down for a min!

Dude, stop doing pulls in 4th gear!!! It's too cold for that ****.
It' wasn't even that warm out today and at one point I had all 4 windows downI'm so ready for spring.

I too had a car problem today....on ramp, 2nd gear, floor it...boost, boost, nothing. My car wouldn't even boost 1 psi..Checked evrything, pulled everything apart. later realized that the weld on my wastegate flapper broke. It was wierd driving a N/A car for a minute.

Aron, did it stay at 24.5 psi? or did it spike and them smooth out. Or did you hit 19.5 then creep to 24.5. Or did it hit 24.5 and fuel cut?

Whoops I posted an inside joke in the wrong thread!

If you were from the algonquin crew that would have made sense. Sorry for the confusion, that wasn't meant to be part of this conversation, must have had 2 tabs open at once and posted in the wrong one.

Hey guys...I am interviewing for a promotion and the place I would be is Kalamazoo. Is this the appropriate thread to ask what you think of the area? I am thinking Grand Rapids is the closest MWSOC group to that town.

Any thoughts of Kalamazoo? Ghetto / Nice? What are the yuppiest neighborhoods (safest for the wife and baby)?

Tuesdays are the best for me at night, otherwise the earliest I get out during the week is 8pm on Thursday.

Kalamazoo has both nice and ghetto areas. The downtown is nice and there are quite a few lakes in the area. A few guys on misubie are from that area. Also, there is a pretty big group of Subarus there and once a month has a nice cars & coffee.

Hey, I'm due for my 90k service. I was spoiled living in Houston and Chicago, and have had my car at AMS, PNL and DS1 for service work. My stealership who effed my car during the fuel line replacement, wants $1k for this. Dylan gave me a reasonable quote but I no longer live in Chicago. Any third part shops recommended or are we a stealership only kind of town?

Just make the drive to Chicago. I wouldn't trust anyone up there now after living here.

If your not a douche canoe you can hang with the Gonq for the weekend. Good time's always.

Dewey's right, cruise to IL and get it done at DS1, hang out with the goofballs in algonquin, get a creepy handshake from ted. It's a good trip, we always have fun!

Lol, having lived in Chicagoland for years, I've got plenty of pals to spend the weekend with. The big question is if they can get it done in the weekend...

Hello! I am new to the area, actually my wife and I are still deciding if we are going to stay or not, but most likely we are. We are actually close to Muskegon, but I have a cousin who lives in Grand Rapids, and works at WZZM 13. I think we would be up for meeting up once in a while, I just would like to know when and where the meets usually are. We came from the Cincinnati, OH area, and met up with the members from there. Hopefully we will be able to make it out, and meet some new people.

I have a Forester XT, we used to have a 1999 RS Coupe with v5 JDM STI swap...

Thanks though Aron!

SOA does f around with dates. Sometimes parts are overnight, otherwise they can take their sweet-ass time.
