For the record, I liked the little lounge area. I can't hear **** most of the time anyway. I have the hearing of a 90 year old man

So are we gonna plan on just parking on the street in front where they have the no parking thing on the meters. If there's enough of us, I don't think it would be a problem ,right? Those Harley guys get away with it.

Hey all!

Just got back into a Subaru after a two year hiatus. Drove it for 8 days, then it got hit by a truck.

The body shop says it'll be done by Tuesday, so perhaps I'll be at the next one. It would be fun to meet some local Subie people!

Yeah I sure hope so. The parts list was pretty short: Mirror, quarter panel, headlight, grille, wheel, and tire. An alignment is the only mechanical thing I see listed on the estimate. I'm just glad it didn't get totaled out, especially since it took a month for me to find a suitable older Subie.

If you want I can go with you when you pick it up and nitpick the quality of their work. That's what Shawn and I have done every time he's had a car worked on and you can never tell when they've had body work. On average we each find 3 quality issues with every repair.

Yeah, division body shop f'ed up Mel's G6. At least its a lease.

When I had my car painted, I went the Shawn route, and it came out perfect.

I will definitely be going over it with a fine toothed comb. After the shop issues I had with my old Outback, that's a given. The worst offense was tire related: they replaced a brand new $200+ high performance Yokohama with an economy Kelley tire with an MSRP of about $25.

You can imagine how well that worked.

Nope im still around... just don't usually surf the local board often. But im always around plenty of Subaru's, especially Steven's freshly swapped EJ20G into his '98 RS.
