Subaru Stars How many miles....c'mon, time to brag!!

95 WRX, Manual.
I just clocked over 205,000kms, (128,125Miles?)
For the last 100,000kms or so, I've been running 23 Psi of boost, with Std internals. At the mo' I'm getting 9-10litres per 100Kms of 'spirited' driving.
I think that's around MPG

Anyone else got something old but good??

OK.....
So look at the figures you're making from you're 2.0litres or so....

How many Toyota's, Mazda's, Nissan's, Acura's,Mitsubishi's make those sort of numbers and still run??? and I'm tellin' yuz from experience THEY DON'T!!!!

They get to 160,000kms and blow smoke, run rough, gaskets failing everywhere, CV joints and boots every 3-5 years, suspension bushes..
The list goes on and ON!! And they're only driving two wheels!!! So when you park the old girl tonight, and you get in the thing tomorrow and it starts, runs and gets you there , stop and salute the god of all things Japanese, (Especially FHI), and thank the all mighty god you bought a Subaru!!!!! BTW, If anyone says anything bad about them I'll book a ticket to your backyard and prove you wrong!!!
Did you guys know that over here the Forester Limited has the best resale value of ANY MOTOR VEHICLE IN ANY CLASS!!! (over and up to 5 years from new..)
Cheers
Sixpack, (feeling VERY Subaru Patriotic at the mo')..

1988 Subaru GL-10:EA82T w/5spd Fulltime 4WD tranny, running 11psi of boost with plentiful supporting mods; It has 180,256 miles on the chassis and about 73,XXX miles on the second motor(original motor blew up long before I bought the car; cracked heads). Running strong the last time I drove the car which was about a year ago for obvious reasons(Car: in Texas; Me: in Okinawa, JP).

Over here(as of last weeks prices), I was quoted $5,500AUS for a Ver 4 Sti front cut with EVERYTHING for conversion, (diff/t/shaft/crossmembers etc), and it had plenty of HKS stuff on it. It had done 120,000kms, (75000miles?).
30 Day warranty on the engine internals.

How does that compare?

Only 165k miles on my '91 SS.

Still original engine and turbo. Can't say the same for the tranny, though.... Damn 4eat.

Got a full polyurethane bushing kit on its way, since the stock rubber pieces are showing their age.

My MY00RS has 135k mi on it, and it on it's second engine due to a thermostat failure that fried my bearings.

My MY91 Legacy turbo SS has 166k mi on and runs like new. Though I am pulling the engine and installing a '96 Ej20G w/65k mi on it before the end of the month. And to answer the question on price, mine cost around $2K, including tranny and freight to my door...
