Default How 'available' is the LudeSPEED turbo kit?

Sent Tom emails, but never got any reply...so I wonder if anyone knows just how available are his kits?

I mean like if it will take at least 2-3 months (after payment) before the kit will be shipped out?

Yea a silly q's from a silly me

Well i ordered mine from Tom early February and got it at the end of march. I personally think Tom is a great guy to work with, he always gets back to my emails. I had some problems initially with my getting mine all tuned and he has been EXTREMELY helpful.

Hoping that helps.

Tom's great and so is the kit. I think you might be better of calling him. Just ask him how long it would take to get you a kit. I'd imagine it would depend on how busy he is!

Okay, I will call

The next question though is that:
You guys paid up front (in full) and then waited 2-3 months for it to ship to you?

Yup, more silly q's...

Thanks

Tom gave me the option of paying half now half on arivile. I wanted to just pay in full upfront. I had to wait about 2-3 months, but Iwas in the second run and there were a couple of orders that he was filling!

Oh well, I guess good things take time 50/50 that's very honest of Tom!
Hmmm, okay my 3rd q's, using the same format of my first 2:

How about FAT then? Seems a bit more expensive.

Hehe, something happened to me these days making me a silly person (don't ask, it may get worst)

There's a new kit coming out that seems alot more promisiing than the ludespeed stage three, for the same price. it even comes with a LINK ECU... I should be one of the first ones to get it. comes out in about a month, then I was told I will get one within a week of its release. PM me if you want more details...

Tom is a great guy. I paid in full over two payments before he sent it out. I was also on the Xmas time group deal thingy he was putting on....The only gripe I have was the quality of the up pipe and it's delayed arrival (kit came, up pipe didn't). The flanges were warped and a little too small for the the flanges to mate up perfect for the wastegate. The kit works great otherwise. It seems he has switched to a Tial Wastegate from a Deltagate and I think I am one of the first guys to put it on. I had trouble with the connection betweent he wastegate and the up pipe. I would recomend NOT using any gaskets between the two flanges on the wastegate and up pipe and the downpipe. I had to file the ears of the flange to make sure they were perfectly flat and bolted them tightly together. Now I have no more leaks. This was a HUGE pain in the ass. So, in short, I don't recomend using the supplied Tial gaskets with this kit. The up pipe flange is not good enough to support the use of gaskets and they will blow out on the thin sides. Consider it a lesson learned...That being said, good luck...you will love it...

I believe Robert has a pretty quick turn around on turbo kits. Usually I think it is 2-4 weeks depending on what specs you want. I have worked with him several times and he does a good job.

Paul: Hehe, now that's 2 threads you voiced out the leaking problem Man, you must be really pissed due to that; I hope the best for you.

Well to be fair to FAT, your asking about the Ludespeed kit in the subject line, so FAT guys might not read it.

I was very happy with Tom and his Kit as well btw
