Welding? Shouldn't it all just bolt together?

If you have to weld I'd slap Kronztek a few $$$ to use his hoist. It will make the job sooo much easier.

No no. I mean the exhaust like the muffler has been welded together in the middle to make one full piece. I just want to make sure the welding is quality before I put the muffler on the car.

I got me-self a heated and insulated garage. I also have a welder as well.

Just got my stuff today. Not sure exactly when I will put it on.

Huh??? What kind of exhaust did you buy? If you are doubting the welds I'd send it back and buy something else. Why in the hell would they weld a muffler together in the middle?

Hopefully the pics help explain what I'm talking about.
I wasn't expecting so much welding either but they look good to me. I assume they put the baffling together and then weld the exhaust shell around it.

And thats why i'm trying to get an opinion of the welds if they don't look good ill send it back but i'm sure they are fine.

Is there anyone in our area that has a leak down tester that I can use?

why you think you got a cylinder problem? My g/f's dad might have one if you can't find one from someone on here.

And as for the exhaust I figured it was good I just wanted another opinion

Is he gonna have a sweet car there? And does he get an appearance fee?

Bruenta will probably be driving his "sweet" Protege wagon with a burned out headlamp.

Well obviously that burnt out headlight helps with wind resistance. It must be fast.

20 people in attendance tonight.

Bruenta was looking for BenBen, but he was nowhere to be found.

Plans were made for an ice rallycross this Friday.

Seems like it worked ok. I just got the Wideband wired up, so I need to log the car now and make sure the injectors and A/F looks good. I'm not using the gauge, so I need to download the software and hook it up to the computer to calibrate it and whatnot. It seems to be running a little better, just need to get the tune tweaked. I think my CAI sucked a little bit of water in today. It ran like crap when I was coming home from picking up some dog food. When I cleaned the filter and didn't get it totally dry it did the same thing. It is so dang wet outside and there are puddles everywhere.

I have some family over tonight, so just call me before you come over. Shouldn't be a big deal to come over tonight though
