Default 2.0L with vf39 and meth

I installed AEM's meth kit about a month ago, and got retuned about two weeks ago.

Gains are not awesome, since the mighty old vf39 let me down and didnt want to push more air, its pretty much maxed out... boost wont go past 22 lbs. I think its time for something bigger...

I know my torque numbers are too high for a 2.0, but neither my mechanic, tuner, or me have idea why... anyway, its a good thing..

We still managed to get 15 hp and 11 lbs-tq with the meth kit...

Car mods:

stock 2.0L longblock
vf39
sti pink injectors
css fmic
apexi avc-r boost controller
aem meth kit (medium nozzle)
uppipe + TBE
UTEC

Thanks to Miguel Alcrudo from AutoPlaza for his tuning expertise, and to Wilo from SportyDyno...

Run 6: 93 Oct.
Run 10: 93 Oct + Meth (50/50)

That's one of the characteristics of meth injection.

Meth made my tdo4 tq numbers

Congrats on the nice numbers.

Congrats on the nice numbers.
I see your point, but I am still getting 310 lbs tq WITHOUT meth....

I still would like to know why, what have I done right, that makes the ej20 make considerably more torque than other ej20's. I have friends with similar setups, and they have similar HP, but they are all in the 260-280 range torque wise and on this same dyno...

I think those are great numbers for the VF39 with a 2.0L.

Enjoy the power

That's very conservative for meth. If it was leaned out more you would see even higher numbers.

yes, but as my tuner told me, my car reacted better to more timing w/ rich AFR's than less timing w/ leaner AFR's.

Put 285 on my VF39 without meth with a top mount. These numbers make me want to buy a kit.
