I think you needed more than that - try bulletproof glass so you don't get shot in the head by random gun fire. Last I heard though it's not legal and the minute the authorities find out, you're on their books and they will find you.

But I would rather have lexan rear side windows than bulletproof glass so I can "outrun" them with less weight

nah...im not worried about getting hit in the car....i'm worried i'll be picking up a pizza and one of these gun-toting hip gangster wannabes will run in spraying and prayin and i'll get hit by a stray bullet...

but i am happy that there were 10+ RCMP speed trapping it up yesterday outside hope....i mean i'm glad they're out there catching the real criminals....i mean speeding tickets should take priority over gang wars right?

Of course! It all starts with speeding! People speed then they realize they can get away with small crimes so they grow into bigger crimes like drug trafficking, human trafficking, guns... and before you know it we're all crime lords. All of course stemming from speeding.

Here's another - http://www.google.com/hostednews/can...Xy4CMCMHq2zlnA

This is getting ridiculous, although I don't mind gangSTARS killing gangstars, it is going to result in innocent deaths (and already has).

Some dickship crashed his folks SUV into two pedestrians right in front of my place over the weekend. 18yr old.

Honestly I think in a lot of these issues the parents are to blame, or where it starts. Kids just aren't the same as they used to be and I think a lot of it comes from a breakdown in the family unit (whether that means both parents working, coddling the kids etc etc.).

It's not just the parents, tho I agree they are the main problem. It's also society and the laws/justice system giving the criminals way too many chances...

I'm not saying it is only the parents. But the law and justice system comes in later. If they aren't growing up to commit crimes whether there were issues in the justice system it wouldn't matter.

I got searched by U.S. Dept of Homeland Security yesterday coming back into Canada at Aldergrove. I guess my wife looks like I am smuggling her into the country, and I appear to be the "gang" type.

Parents aren't allowed to control their kids anymore. You give them a spanking, or send them to bed without dinner, you're liable to get child services called on you.

This is the problem with democracy. The people rule, but the people are idiots and don't know what they want.

That's quite the exaggeration but I see your point...the thing is, we let it get like this. And you can still bring kids up properly without beating the snot out of them.

A spanking is not beating the snot out of them... the idea isn't to hurt them.

I think one of the biggest problems is people aren't growing up anymore, but they're still having kids. I'm just a big kid, with big toys... I'm not in any state to be a father, but lots of guys like me out there have 1-2 kids already, and they ignore them and keep on with their own projects.

I support zero tolerance policy for gangs.

If you are found to be affiliated with a gang you go to jail, no questions asked. I'm sick of the slaps on the wrists.....My mother shops at that IGA. Something needs to be done, I'm sure they're already "doing their best", but **** their best, it's not working.

I mean there's always going to be gangs and crimes, but this is just getting too close to home. The bacon brother dude crashed his car into the Keg right beside my office the other day(abbotsford, when dude got shot and all that)....It really is out of control, and yes they are just targeting other gang members and such, but automatic weapon fire in a crowded parking lot during the middle of the day? More and more innocent people will continue to get killed in the cross-fire.

I find it troubling that there isn't more of a public out-cry about this. I'm flat out pissed that our streets are becoming a war-zone for gangs. Who wants to organize a protest-rally-demonstration thing...100 subarus with loud exhaust outside the courthouse or police station....peaceful of course....maybe some signs and stuff to show we're fed up with it. Who's in?

It's only a matter of time till someone on here, or their kids/wife/loved ones are killed if this keeps up.

Ya I heard that too the RCMP found out that the Bacons had bullet proof glass on all there SUV's BMW"S etc and the hole leasing fleet was pulled in and multible cars had bullet proof glass... and now rivel gangs have heard this. So they are making their hit's knowing this info that there is no bullet proof glass to protect them.

It's lovely knowing one lives in PoCo.

Have you seen the lot of the leasing company who recalled all of their cars ? !
Just recently covered all windows, placed cement barriers and barbed wire

Seems even they are scared sh**less now that the are in the possession of Gang related vehicles . .
Good luck re-selling a vehicle known to have been targeted by gangs eh ?

Protest with Subarus with loud exhausts? I think we would all end up getting VI/tickets and became the story....

Yep, zero tolerance is good, except this is a country about individual rights and everybody has a ton of rights that cannot be trampled on by the authorities. There needs to be a balance

i got no problem with gangs, that being said these idiots that are risking others lives and shooting up public places need to be dealt with. i swear to god if anybody i know is ever hit i'll tear these mother****ers a new *******. **** this ****, somebody's gonna get it, somebody innocent will die and when the first mother****er is caught, he should be cut up slowly until he is almost dead, and then lit on fire.

these gangsters need to realize there is a time and place to handle your business, and it's not at ****ing grocery stores. people are gonna start carrying there own pistols, and ****'s gonna get real ugly.

sorry for the cussing and everything, i'm pissed, and with 2 kids and a wife, i have every right to be
