Head gasket selection (EJ257 + Ej251 heads)
well, the motor is coming together nicely.
I have my CP pistons, eagle rods, and ACL bearings all installed.
Here is where I cannot get a straight answer from anyone.
What Headgasket should I be running?
I have a EJ257 bottom end and Ej251 heads. A MUT i know..
The heads are built with TWE Dual springs, retainers, Delta cams and SS valves.
What are my different options?

OEM STi EJ257 HG's for 2.5L bores
OEM '97-'98 EJ22E HG's for 2.2L bores
OEM WRX EJ205 HG's for 2.0L bores
...but that's just me. All these are 3-layer HG's.

I'd look at the thicker cometics (.051 or .060) if you are going to run 20+ psi.
