They're good looking guns but for the same amount you can get a TRP that's a far better gun. The first few years the MC Operator was out it sold for the same price as the Loaded models. But for some reason the prices of the MC's shot through the roof. There's no hand fitting and they're assembled just like the other standard Springers so it won't perform any better than those models. (loaded, mil-spec, GI, etc)

Only thing I am basing the want off of was the Springfield semi was in town and they had all their misled and this one was the one that felt the nicest to me. But all of the operator Springfields were super nice. Still hard for me to give up the rounds that my USP holds....

Can't speak for the low end Springers, but their upper end 1911s rock. I like my EMP enough even thought it weighs 2 lbs unloaded I still carry it every day.

Probably the best shooting compact .40 you can buy.

I own a Springfield armory gi and stoned all metal to metal surfaces. Polished the ramp and it eats everything I've shot through it never a jamb.

Same with this puppy, I've sent 5 33rd mags as fast as I could squeeze em out, pure flawlessness

Not hating on the glocks at all, but my Springfield XDm . 40 sub compact is so much more comfortable and accurate I made the switch. Glocks are great weapons but I now prefer the XDm. As well as getting more for your money.

Not trying to start a war, lol.

I also carry everyday and I have only ever drawn my weapon once and I probably could have handled the situation another way but 1 vs 6 is no good.

It's ok, your not the first I've heard say that.. Looks like I'll have to try one out..
Looking for a Ruger Lcr for my wife, if anyone sees one or knows a place with good deals.

What's the weight comparison between a glock and xd sub? I got the glock bc I like black, and it had factory night sights.

I made this switch too. I had a glock 23 and traded it in on a xdm 40. I like glock but the Springfield is a much better gun hands down.

I liked my g27 at first, but after a while I had constant problems with it. It was a mix of constant fte's and ftf's. I brought it back to the gun shop and they pointed out that there was a crack on the frame just above the trigger guard. They sent it back for me, and when I got it back the crack was gone but it still would ftf/fte. Luckily the gun shop worked with me, and allowed me to trade it in for the same price I bought it for.

I haven't given Glocks a second chance since then, but I haven't really felt the need to because I've been so happy with my 1911's. I'm not trying to convert anyone, I'm just saying if you buy another gun to take a look at them.

I had a hard time between the 26 and 27. All my buddies have the 27, so I went with the 26, just to be different. Love em both though!

I really like the pearce extension. I have the similar one that adds 3 rounds but its not as comfortable, but I like it better than the stock glock +2 it came with.

I like any extension I can find, currently as it sits with a few mods

2- 9rd Mag w/+2 grip ext (pearce)
1- 15rd Mag w/ +2 with spacer
Punisher backing plate

I had a nice frame plug that flushed the butt of the gun and the extended mag up nicely, but some cop in Oaklahoma thought he'd be slick and field strip my gun and that piece came up missing.
( I think he wanted it for his glock ) lol long story though.

My 2cents......I firmly believe that there are Glock people and if you aren't one, there's nothing anyone to include Glock themselves can do to change your mind. I love 1911's and tried to do the Glock thing. I bought a Glock 21sf LE model. Don't get me wrong 13+1 is hard to beat capacity wise for a 45acp, but I've got less than 100 rounds down the pipe and I would rather shoot my 1911. That is why I am now selling that dang black brick. But like I said at the beginning, the black brick statement is just because I cannot bring myself to love something that Glock makes. Again just my 2cents

I also carry a springfield xd40. Have fired hundreds of rounds and never a jam. Easily one of more accurate handguns I've shot.

I typed a good response but my app closed out and I lost the reply... Basically it just boils down to functionality. I don't have my glock bc I think it's the Mac daddy, but more for conceal carry. It packs more punch then a 9mm. Your 1911 weighs in at 2.44 lbs and my glock at 1.24 so for daily carry it's more preferable. My next conceal investment won't be a glock however it'll be this sneaky little guy...

I think the 21sf will leave my possession for roughly $400 since its the le but it is simply a safe queen right now so there's no rush to get it out the door. I would like to get a new safe soon cause my long gun side is full and the wife would like her own DM AR or new over under shotgun for clay competitions so gotta get a new safe
