I've been considering a similar build, but why choose the Blackout Flash Hider vs. Brake Out?

Just curious on your choice

my main issue was not with recoil but with the flame bursts i was getting, lol. people next to me at the range dont like to be there when i pull the trigger.

if this doesnt help the most, i will try the other AAC options

Wanted to say thank you to Brad. great guy to work with and very nice product.that is local in Milwaukie OR. uses a stock core and does all of the machining on the bull barrel by hand. fluted, threaded, and end cap ready to fire for 130. great product.

Anyone interested in an HK 91? I'm thinking of selling it but not sure.

Wood furniture? Nice. I would have jumped on it if I didn't have my MSG 91. How much are you looking to get for it?

I was thinking somewhere in the $1400 area, but open to offers and trades.

Just had a guy tell me he was interested until he say it had wood furniture. Said he wanted black only.

Pics of both sides of the magwell. Manufacturer name and state/country. I'm curious as to what version it is. HK had a couple different roll marks depending on when/where it was made.

It all makes sense now. You've got a CETME clone built by Hesse. Century Arms, Hesse, and others have made clones from the CETME which is actually the precursor to the G3. I've got a Century version currently.
They all have their pro's and cons, but the PTR is considered the highest quality of the bunch and it's valued at close to $1k. All the rest, including yours and mine, are currently selling in the $500-$700 range from what I've been able to find.
CETME's and clones typically have wood furniture untill people change them out. Very early G3s have wood furniture, HK 91s all had plastic/polymer furniture. If it was a real HK, it would run about $2500+. The HK contract guns are typically $2k+
