Just as a warning, the WAC shows have been crazy lately. Went for some ammo cans last time and they were sold out.

I would recommend early Saturday morning if you can make it. I read in the monthly newsletter than one of the shows up north had to shut down early and kick out venders because so many people had cleared out everything.

True. I've been there every show since December though.
I'm going for specific things from a specific guy so I'm not concerned.

Reminder there is an IDPA match on Sat in Renton. You need a holster and some extra mags, and preferably a mag carrier.

Glad we all hooked up today. Goodtimes. The father-in-law brought some cool stuff out I'd never seen before. He has quite the collection. My favorite was the 44mag with 9" barrel and coming in close second was the lever action 45-70. Got the bruises to prove it.

I warned you about the 44-70. Those things are BADASS! Wish I could have gone....

I got to shoot one of those a while back. It was awesome. I don't recall the bruises being bad.

I got to shoot an M1 Garand and an M1 Garand Tanker's model today. Two of the coolest rifles I've shot thus far, barely edging out the 45-70.

Currently in Ellensburg for school but I'm from Shoreline and I'd be down to shoot with you guys when I'm home this summer. I've got a Winchester Model 12 that was passed down from my step-grandpa to my dad to me. I looked up the serial number and it was made in 1918. I like to shoot clays and I'm pretty good for a n00b (shot 16/25 at kenmore, first time ever shooting a shotgun). Anyway I'll keep an eye on this thread as summer approaches.

Did ya go? I thought yesterday was great!

I met Tom the retired cop/Master classed shooter at rifle league on Fridays so I decided to give it a try. While Tom's rifle on Friday looked like it came straight out of the 80s, he has the most consistent and fastest times. He ended up being first place at IDPA on Saturday as well.

Yesterday was my first IDPA match, and 'Twas good fun, and I was glad to have met a lot of local shooters, and interesting fellows. I didn't realize that there was a rifle special stage though. For my first event I scored 180, with the 2nd/3rd quartile of shooters. Next time, i'll try actually reading the rules about tactical sequence and the like, haha, got at least 40 worth in procedural penalties.

Doh, i ended up not going cause i got drunk the night before and slept in. Doh.

Yeah Tom is fast. Usually after the matches they do some sort of side stage. Its usually posted on their forums.

I also need to find some 9mm ammo. Local walmart doesn't have any.

I forgot to mention about when we were headed out of Bonney Lk on 410 and that little incident I had with that MB SL500.
That was a gal driving.
You should have seen the grin on her face when I let her go by
