I've got plans this weekend but I think I'm going to Champion tonight to check out their steel plate league. Just picked up a new (used) pistol and want to check it out.

what im bringing:
Mosin Nagant M44 7.62X54R
Chincom SKS
2 .22 marlin rifle's
mossberg 500 12gauge pump
S&W .357
Rossi .357
S&W Sigma .40
couple .22 hand guns

and maybe a few others.

You do know that they closed off a lot of shooting out there, right?

Just so you know....
There is a chance that if you get busted for being there, they could confiscate all your weapons. It could take years to get them back, or you may never see them again.

The areas closed to target shooting will stretch from Exit 38, off I-90, to the top of Snoqualmie Pass.

I would be down to go sometime soon outside of greenwater. I would bring an AR-15, AK47, Sig 556, Rem.870 supermag express, and a .22mag... not 21 so no pistols for me

I just picked up a GSG. This weekend is a no go for me though. Auburn car show, wife's birthday and sunday autocrossing. Hopefully the next weekend though.

how do you like it? I thought about buying one but it felt to much like an airsoft gun in my hands... it just felt like it was 100% plastic and flemsy and would brake if it was ever dropped

I just got it. I shot it a few times before. It was a friends. Cycles nicely and accuracy seemed up to par. I will be taking it out shortly, put a few hundred through it and see.

two things...

a - anyone cool with letting me try a few rounds on a small size weapon prior to me making a purchase so I am better educated?

b - going to get my permit in the next week or so, although I don't plan on having it on my 24/7 is there any type of car holders (i.e. glove box) out their for the subies?

I used Gunvault mini and lock it with cable to the car seat bracket. Behind the passenger seat since my kids are too young to reach the floor. It allowed me to reach for it quickly. Glove compartment is too easy to pry open.

That's nice, unfortunately it would be a violation at work. Even leaving it in the car at company parking lot is not legal.

oh no i totally understand that, im lucky and my boss wants me to carry at work since our location really isn't in the best city since in the last 1.5years that ive been back working here we have had 2 people try to ran sack our own cars that are sitting right out side our door during business hours as well as had 3 break in's in the last 2 months 1 of which i scared off the guy because i was there on a day off working on my car.

but ya its nothing to loose your job about, expecally in these times.
