Question Roofrack Crossbar for the Sport Activity light kit.

I have a question about the roofrack crossbars on a baja as well as others. I have a light kit for a baja roof rack and I'm wondering if the kits brackets also fit other crossbars or if they are baja specific.

I'm not worried about the length of the crossbar or the attachment points at the end, just the shape and how the brackets attach.

The reason I ask is, I can't find any used crossbars for the baja, but there are a bunch of others available.

Thanks

Marc M

I have the activity lights on my Baja. The clamps are molded to fit exactly to the OEM crossbars.
Depending on the size of the crossbars, you might be able to get them to clamp on, but it probably won't be a perfect fit. If the cross bars you're talking about are perfectly round tubes, I don't think they'll hold very well.

Thanks, I assumed they were for the baja only but most of the subaru crossbars look similiar. I actually bought 2 of the activity light kits to use on the roof rack of my Tacoma. The brackets are what caught my eye, but not available individually. My crossbars are oval and much larger in diameter. I thought about making new lower parts of the brackets to fit but decided to find crossbars to use instead.

Thanks for the info.
