It will let its presence known, and it will scare the crap out of you.

BOOM!!!! Holy ***** did I just break something.

I tired that route, and shudder... Lock rights front and rear. But you may have more tolerance than me, I have friends who still run detroits on the road.

But me? I ripped em out and put in Ox lockers front and rear... and absolutely LOVE them. In 10 years of wheeling they have never once let me down, in any fashion. I would do those for an upgrade or the E-Locker, Seen way too many ARB failures over the years.

It's black fiberglass (or looks like it). I imagine that's like an easybake oven during the summer.

i will agree with this. any auto locker sucks if you have to drive on the road. i have had my ARB air lockers for almost 10 years now with out a failure. I hated driving on the road with a detroit locker.

Test drove a Commander yesterday. Not sure why it has a third row.

Up it leaves less than a foot of space behind it. And folded down it takes up 1/3 of the vertical cargo room. What a useless SUV. No wonder they cancelled it.

Can you PM me a picture of your seats, assuming those are stock as well. I've been wanting to see what the stock seats look like, since my Renegade somehow has Sahara seats in it.

I don't feel like putting up with crap like that any longer which is why I went with a Detroit in the rear. From the research I've done people are generally happy with them and don't hardly get any fuss from them. Really hope it's not as bad as you say.

The e-locker is a good choice but I don't like the modifications to the housing that I'd have to do. And I've read good things about OX but they don't make anything for my Toyota.

Those are great pictures, I really would like to try and make it there one of these years.

Anyone heard if the marines are still planning a take-over of Johnson Valley? I remember a bunch of forums rallying for support against it but never heard what happened with it.

Thanks.

Yeah, the Marines are still planning to take-over Johnson Valley. Hence there were many banners hung up that said: "Save Johnson Valley"

I read about it on some of the offloading forums, but I have not keep up with the updates.

If anyone is interested, I am unloading the stock tires/wheels from my '11 Wrangler. These are the 17" "Moab" wheels that come with the S-package Sport. Tires are 255/75-17 Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's. I'll provide pics (tomorrow) if anyone is interested.

2wd for now but if we can source a axle and trans/transfer case for cheap it may end up 4X4.

The mail jeep is just to have something crazy for daily driving, He's also has a wrangler and a XJ
