I got the TF HD carrier and tire mount on yesterday, as well as the SRP pedals I ordered last summer (I had to send them back to bend the throttle to match the new pedal in the Wrangler).

Teraflex 3".

I averaged 12.4 on the 1300 mile trip, which is down a negligible amount since installing the rack.

I got 15mpg today on a run up to some offroading fun. Hopefully, I'll get the pics and video soon. The AEV 3.5 RS kit did a great job....80mph on the highway and some pretty dicey off-camber ledges into a creek.

15? After properly tuning my 4.5 stroker, I'm getting close to 20.

This is even with a Holley 4-barrel and 35s

Thanks bud!

BTW guys, I'm averaging 19mpg with 33" tires, more if its just highway miles. More reason to hold off on bigger tires and a lift. I drive way too much to risk losing mpg.

The tire/wheel combo weights close to 125 lbs. (a corner). The rack adds additional weight and isn't necessarily aerodynamic. The 3.73 gearing is complete garbage for the setup. The 12.4 mpg's was also at 65 mph.

Cap, super crew, intake, performance tune, MTR's that stick out ever so much more then stock.

And if you are going off what your dash says, its about 1mpg lower then that.

Not a Jeep but this is my off-road toy.

It will be getting a new body and complete frame off resto-mod with lots of custom fabrication starting in the spring.

He's talking about the Plasti-dip Mr. Looking-for-an-insult.

I based on what I'm experiencing with my plasti-dip'd grille badge on the Suzuki, as long as you allowed proper cure times between coats and did several coats, I'd expect it'll hold up surprisingly well.

It's got 5 coats on it. I tried to scratch it off and it was surprisingly tough. What's the big deal anyway? It's not like I can't repaint it if it does get scratched.
