Default Unofficial Group buy thread?

Much like what Biker did for us with the Flaps, Ive been seeing alot of people ordering similar parts weeks apart, myself included and was thinking if the very least we don't get a discount we can sure as **** save on shipping.

What do you guys think? it would be for little things, everyone wants Subbie oil filters, why not buy a couple cases and split it.

Need subframe bolts, buy 5 sets and save some $$$ on shipping.

Let me know what you guys think.

I would say the item has to be common enough to make it worthwhile. But on stuff like oil filter, I know we get a better deal shopping from the US online, we might also kill our own businesses doing that long term.

I say yay, bring them on, as long as it's not some crazy exotic item you should have enough buyers for a good discount

ya it was for the little things, and besides we are a small part so 5 of us ordering filters or something isn't gonna kill one of our businesses up here, besides I try not to use ****ty products when I can which is what they stock for the average joe.

but ya, if it takes, we can get a mod to help out by getting a format and sticky.

Name of product
Website to buy or store if it's local
and how wants it, and the first person to post it will be responsible for looking after it unless they make arrangements with someone else to handle it.

That would be a great idea Jeff.
I'm always running out of hardware, and if we're buying enough even stainless becomes affordable. I'm swamped at work today (really, no BS!) but if you could pm me the sizes and lengths that you think would work, I'll contact Fuller Metric and hopefully still be able to use my old account and discount.

well i'm thinking:

Nuts:
M10x1.25
M8x1.25

Studs:
M10 x 1.25 - 41mm

Bolts:
8X1.25 - various lengths
M6x1.0-10
M6x1.0-40
M10x1.25-30mm (other lengths would probably be good to get as well)

thats all i can think of right now......as opposed to this turning into a hardware size hijack if u want to add just pm and i'll update this list....I'd just pm this to hypa but i need some more input....and i dont think its worth of its own thread until we start the Group buy

i hate re-using old beat up hardware....

No 0W30 from Motul? I was thinking German Castrol but if the 300V came in 0W30 at a decent price, I might consider using that instead
