Here's a photo from a customer with a bugeye WRX. 8000k HID is installed in the driver's side fog light with OEM halogen in the passenger side fog and halogen bulbs in his Morettes (which will probably be getting an HID kit for the low beams soon!):

Hey guys, these look great. Are these directly swappable into the OEM housings or do you need sti hid housings to work with them? What about dispersion? Do these blind oncoming cars?

Directly swappable. The 06+ headlight reflectors are VERY good. There is extremely little disperse light and they will NOT blind oncoming cars. As long as your headlights are aimed properly, you will never have people flashing their brights at you because your headlights are too bright. 04-05 cars aren't as good but they're good enough that this is still the case except in rare situations. 02-03 headlights are pretty poor though and throw out a lot of diffuse light... there's a higher chance of bothering oncoming traffic if you have a bugeye. But truly, 06+ (and 05+ Legacy GT) headlights are very very good and are perfectly suitable for HID with no side effects for other drivers.

We don't stock the bulbs here because there are soooooooo many options. Our manufacturer should have basically all of the color temps in stock for H1 right now though so if you ordered a kit we should have the bulbs for it here in about 2 business days, and shipping out to you in about 2 business days. If you ordered today, we can likely get the kit to you on Saturday with the Priority Mail shipping option.
