Default Are there Subaru Performance Shops in Dallas?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you would know of any performance shops for Subarus around the Dallas Metroplex. I'm kinda getting tired of visiting the dealerships for Q&A's and parts. Subaru guys that work there are real cool and informative. The prices for the parts, on the other hand, is a different story. Thanks for the assistance.

cobb in plano - talk to Chris, mzm in austin talk to Mohammed and awdtuning somewhere in dallas Keith'll be your man there...

lots of good options depending on how far you want to drive and how much you want to spend and if you want to go open source versus pro tune etc...

^LOL The other option you have is the 1 man shop of FIS. Steve has been doing it for quite awhile. If you have a 1 day job he'll get you up on the lift and probably do it the same day. But anything bigger and forget about it.......

^^

If you live in the DFW area awdtuning.com is your best bet IMO. Great service, great prices, and Keith and Mary are just great people. Not to mention a wealth of knowledge and a hell of a tune.

Fill out your profile btw.

Cobb and Keith.

Forget FIS.

Nice to finally have good options in dallas since 04. Most of the shady tuner shops have come and gone.

Steve@FIS does excellent work at reasonable rates. He's Subaru specific, and you won't get any BS from him. He doesn't do tuning, and he doesn't do trendy, if that's what you're after. For that, go to Keith and Cobb.

When you can get a hold of him, his labor rates are very reasonable. He just needs someone on a phone because I spent 2 months trying to get a hold of him. I'm still owed an ac install on my bug eye.

rather than make this into an AWDTuning vs the world thread, let's suffice it say there are lots of options in the dallas area and surrounding areas - AWDtuning is not the only one.....
