Default Can I use this oil filter? (not really subaru related)

Not 100% subaru related, but I have a couple of purolator L14460 oil filters left over from when I still had an ej253...my gf's got a 2003 hyundai Accent, completely stock, uses a L14459 filter.

Basically theyre the same but the 14459 has a relief valve set at 12-15psi vs. 20-25psi in the 14460. Can I use my old filters on her car? I usually change her oil every 3-4 months, she never puts more than 4k miles during that time period...

that all depends, just remember if the bypass doesnt quite work, you may starve the engine. usually the mfg builds a high margin of psi into the oil pump
