Default Virginia International Raceway Cuts Prices to Encourage Attendance

Quote:
The Virginia International Raceway announced it is cutting prices as an incentive to get families to the races. Fans fifteen years and younger get free admittance this season with a paid adult guest. In a time when fans are more frugal, especially when it comes to entertainment expenses, the Raceway hopes this, as well as future family-targeted measures for larger events, will boost attendance.

We applaud anything that furthers the cause of auto racing, and hope that competitors, venues, and fans continue to keep the sport alive in a time when racing has seen a downturn.

I think I might go to the Grand-Am race so I can meet up with my friends from MTSU SAE.
