Default STi Intake Manifold VS WRX Intake Manifold

So is there any difference...other than color between the STi intake manifold and the WRX intake manifold?

With the older ones they are the same minus the red color.
The new ones are different, the sti still has the same mani and the wrx gets the new plastic mani.....not sure how much of a difference it is though.

If you don't know, don't post.

USDM STi manifold won't work because it uses a DBW throttlebody with a totally different mounting hole configuration. The WRX DBC throttlebody uses a IAC valve and the manifold has a port for it. The DBW does not have a IAC valve as the throttle plate is used as a IAC valve since the ECU already controls it.

Besides, there are no gains to be had. The both flow exactly the same.

just take the butterfly flaps and the dividers out of yours and it will flow better... better than the STI even I think.
